25.01.2022 RM Williams 'superfecta' today. Stitched stiple full soles, rubber heel top pieces, new gussets and back linings. A bit of everything, all 4 jobs were seperate pairs.

24.01.2022 Believe it or not, when I'm not in the shop fixing shoes you can often find me in my home workshop making them. This is my latest pair. Bespoke Oxfords in a waterproof 'brumby' kangaroo by Vacel leather. Kid linings and Rendenbach, oak bark tanned, soles and heels. Extra photos to show you some of the process. Enjoy.

23.01.2022 We're receiving and sending out repairs all over this wide brown land these days. 2pr of Birkenstock heading off on a 3000km journey to the west coast this week.

20.01.2022 Classic British Dainite full sole and heel combo for this pair of Julious Marlow ankle boots. We've added a thin midsole for added comfort and a stacked leather heel block. Blake stitched construction.

13.01.2022 Another pair of Scarpa boots out the door. Full re-sole using Vibram 'Baltra'.

12.01.2022 Before and After. This pair of boots received a bit of TLC today. Stripped back, we removed the heel blocks, sole and randing. Heel blocks were recovered, we then applied new edge randing and nylex full sole. Heel blocks re-secured and finished with Topy strong top pieces. We also replaced one of the zip runners and gave them a good polish. They'll give our client a few more winters of good use yet.

10.01.2022 Another surgical build-up. (35mm) Got to play around with some matching colours on this one. The sole is spliced, build-up added and the original sole reapplied.

08.01.2022 Re-build for this pair of five ten freerider's. New innersole's and midsoles. These were Blake stitched together to create a sound foundation for the Goodyear 'White Water' outsole. A good clean, some fresh laces and there ready for a few miles yet.

07.01.2022 If you've been to the RM Williams sale at Wayville this week, treat those new boots to a pair of 'Topy' soles. Topy is a French brand and is recognized the world over. Very thin (1.8mm) yet extremely hard wearing, Topy protects the stitching holding the sole to the welt, stops any wear on the original sole and importantly gives a much better non slip finish. Huge range of colours. Black, brown, caramel, leather, blue, red, orange, yellow and white. With out doubt, the best way to prolong the life of you RM Williams boots.

07.01.2022 Conversion time on this pair of Suede Church's. Plantation crepe soles removed and replaced with Dainite full soles, (stitched 360) stacked leather heel block and Dainite top piece. Classic british soles on classic british shoes. It was meant to be.

01.01.2022 Surgical build-up on this Rockport. 30mm at the heel, 15mm at the ball, tapering to the toe. Outsole removed, we add and shape extra EVA to the midsole and then reattach the outsole. The 'World Tourer' lends itself well to this type of alteration.
