22.01.2022 MENS HEALTH - Free Coffee to Blokes @ Perfect Note The end of November marks the end of the annual Mo for many men. How brilliant it has been to see so many strong ‘taches’ walking through the office and filling the streets of Blackwood. Many blokes have strong stories about why they support a cause. Some are personal, some hit very close to home, some simply like the values that come from Movember. We all have different reasons. It has been a year of challenges for many, m...any people for different reasons. Work changes, family shifts, not being able to visit those closest to you, holidays put on hold and the list goes on. My condolences go out to all those affected in their own way. Since the start of November, many stories have been shared about why you support Movember and I appreciate the opening up of blokes (and women) about their reasons behind it. Please keep sharing. It is humbling to be respected to have those communication lines open for people to share personal stories and of those of their families or friends. Admittedly my 'handlebar' game is lacking a lot of strength. Nonetheless I have gone the month with keeping the lip whiskers on board. Now I’d like to show support to those men who have supported a great cause. On Tuesday December 1st, come into the office with your good looking mo from 730-12 and grab a coffee on us from The Perfect Note Cafe next door. It’s the least we can do. Of course, support the Movember foundation but more importantly, ask those around you ‘how they are?’ And not just a casual ‘How you going?’, get in there and care, look them in the eye and ask ‘but really, how are you going? It’s been an up and down year, are you getting on alright?’ Appreciation that someone cares can be life changing. Give it a go! Have a chuckle at the 'Mo' Dr George has grown!
