17.01.2022 We are awaiting our first delivery of government funded Influenza Vaccinations. It is anticipated that our first influenza clinic will begin on the 6th of Apri...l. Given the Coronavirus pandemic, vaccinating large groups of people safely, quickly and observing social distancing measures is a challenge. We have been in discussions with The Blackwood Memorial Hall, and they have been very accommodating in allowing us to utilise their space for this purpose. We feel very confident this location will be extremely suitable. We strongly advise that our patients utilise this service.

05.01.2022 Flu Vaccination Clinics Open(BLACKWOOD CLINIC Patients ONLY) We are pleased to announce we have received supplies of government funded vaccinations, we can now... take bookings via PHONE 82786666 for BLACKWOOD CLINIC PATIENTS ONLY. Please be aware we are experiencing a higher call volume than usual. This years flu clinic will run very differently to previous clinics due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Where: Blackwood Memorial Hall When: Clinics start Monday 6th of April, and will run roughly three times per week. Parking: There is ample parking around the Blackwood Memorial Hall. Procedure: Please enter the largest hall via the North Eastern door. This will be sign posted. Please line up inside the hall according to the marked queue. There is ample space, and please observe generous social distancing practices. You will be called through the foyer to the smaller hall, where the vaccination will take place. There is a dedicated exit from this door. Please do not touch anything. Ensure you have appropriate clothing, and your upper arm is easily accessed. Important: If you have any respiratory symptoms or a fever, you are not to attend for your vaccination. It is vital you comply with this as you will be putting your fellow community members and our staff at risk if you do not. If you have had an influenza vaccine before without a reaction, the usual 15 minute wait will be waived. For first timers, or those with concerns, there will be a dedicated area in the facility for you to wait safely. For the first clinic on Monday the 6th, we will only be booking 65 year olds and above. Subsequent clinics will be open to other age groups.
