23.01.2022 Happy Sunday. I’ve shared this before,but there’s a lotta new followers who might like to get to know a little bit more about me. Probably a lot who couldn’t give a shit either. Or perhaps you already know me? So if you’re not interested, fuck off for now.... I’m Franca , founder and creator at Blackwood Soy Candle Co. Here are some useless facts for you to read. Blackwood is actually the name of our street where my candle making passion began. I started learning about candle making after Mamma passed away 5 and a half years ago. I light one for her every day . I have had brain surgery to remove an Acoustic Neuroma. A 2.5cm tumour that was growing into my brain stem. Pretty fucked up, hey? The surgery left me totally deaf in one ear, with constant tinnitus and some facial palsy on my left side. (This is why in most of my pics I either cut off half my face or have the surprise look,with my mouth open cause I’m trying to hide it!) All good now. I look at the positives in life and an grateful for what I do have. I have Botox to help even me out. I’m married to my high school sweetheart with two young ,adult children that will probably never move out. Why would you ? Lucky I love them to bits. I’m actually also a hairdresser and still have a handful of clients . All of whom will have the worst fucking roots after Melbourne's lockdown. As much as I whinge about it, I do like getting to the gym. (Ahhh, remember those days? Fuck you Corona!) I have arthritis and will definitely need hip replacements eventually. Born in Melbourne and grew up in Coburg . I’m the youngest of four siblings.Mamma called me her Kangaroo . Everyone else migrated from Sicily,Italy. I love to cook and love to eat even more. Especially love a good Asian meal . And I love chocolate. It should be part of your daily requirements. Food is life . I have been to Bali 16 times and I will probably go another 16 times. And no, I am not sick of it. I love it. Love a good laugh and am a bit of a swearer. (In case you hadn’t noticed) Aren’t you glad you just wasted 3 minutes reading this?
