It is anticipated that Federal Election Candidates will attend & this is the communities opportunity to demonstrate their passion for this project. Council is seeking funding from candidates of $10m to partner with Council on the $18-$20m development of The Blackwood Hub & Waite Street Reserve. This project focusses on working with the business community to support financial investment, jobs & sustainability & includes a library, meeting rooms, public toilet, integration of Hub & Waite Street Reserve, improved parking & traffic management, improved pedestrian connectivity & more.
