24.01.2022 Correct stretching & movement is so important for our bodies. Our calisthenics classes were cancelled this week but we do recommend you find the time to stretch to maintain & improve flexibility.

24.01.2022 Important message for all families Following from the updates issued by State and Federal Government Health advice we have discussed the approach we at Blackwood Hills Calisthenics Club will take to manage any risk Coronavirus may present our group. Currently, Australia does not have widespread community transmission of COVID-19. To help slow the spread, the Australian Government has advised, effective from Monday 16 March, organised, non-essential gatherings should be limi...ted to 500 people. This advice does not include workplaces, schools, universities, shops, supermarkets, public transport and airports. The situation regarding COVID-19 may change with short notice. We will post updates via (EMAIL/FB/SMS- select which we will use) if our instruction changes to this message. At this stage, weekly Team Practice will go ahead as scheduled. If you / your daughter are unwell please do not attend and please ensure to let your Coach know prior to the class commencement you will not attend. If you or your family have lowered immunity or believe attending class poses a risk and do not wish to attend, again please advise your Coach prior to class commencement. If we learn that many girls will not be attending classes we may need to update our decision about classes going ahead. We will advise if this is the case. We will be following advice from Government and Health notifications. Please keep an eye on formal updates regarding management of COVID-19 issued by relevant authorities. We will discuss any arrangements that need to be made regarding routines and preparations for Mid-year concert when we know more about changes that may be required.
