22.01.2022 In the past few days I have been reminded of why I live and work in the awesome community of Blackwood. I had a patient find me some hand sanitiser (amazing!!!) and another put aside some rubbing alcohol (for dry needling)when the business got it in stock!! Ive also seen some amazing acts of kindness on the buzz. 2 weeks ago it seemed an everyone for themselves mentality, but over the past 3 days it seems Blackwood has regrouped and that community spirit is back!! Well done Blackwood and surrounds!

For the safety of our patients we have increased the cleaning practices further and also have decided that our practitioners Dr Paije and Dr Alison will also be wearing masks during your treatment. 08.01.2022 We are continuing to do what we can to avoid the spread of the virus. We have increased the disinfecting of the clinic and we have removed the toys and magazines from the waiting room. So if you have little ones coming in with you, we suggest you bring some activities/entertainment from home to keep them occupied.

04.01.2022 Ive been thinking a lot over the past few days about how this situation is affecting everyone. It is stressful enough without thinking about how this affects people financially, making the right choices for your family, keeping yourself and your loved ones healthy, trying to get what you need from the shops, will we be locked down.. the list goes on. It is a lot for someone to think about without the added difficulty of a mental health issue. It is important as we are temporarily distanced from each other that we stay in touch, and check in with our friends and family. Actually ask how are you really going with all that is going on?? Lets make sure people still feel loved. We live in an amazing time where we have so much technology and the ability to keep in touch in such amazing ways. So use them.

If you have an appointment with myself of Dr Alison during this time, I will contact you sometime today. If you have an emergency, I will have the clinic phone transferred to my mobile and will help as much as I can with advice of what to do over the phone until I am able to see you.
