20.01.2022 Joeys did a hike tonight, to Echo Tunnel and back! It was quite long and tiring -the heat probably impacted them, but they spotted some wild life along the way!
18.01.2022 An album of happy snaps from the Scout Camp on the weekend because some of the Leaders were having so much fun seeing the Scouts again and wanted to share the happiness with everyone :)
17.01.2022 We recently donated many towels, sheets, quilts, pillows etc to Treasure Boxes at Edwardstown. They were extremely grateful for all of the items which will go to local SA families.

10.01.2022 A few weeks ago, the Scouts had a hike prep night in preparation for our Mambray Creek Hike at the end of this term. The Scouts watched a very informative presentation on what to bring/wear on a hike, learnt to use trangias and practiced setting up their hike tents. After a night hike this week just gone, up Brown Hill, the Scouts are well and truly on their way to be ready for Mambray!
10.01.2022 Painting some glow on the dark bowling 'lanes', pins and a ball for Joeys this week- will it work? Yes, it did! Very excited Joeys had fun (but the noise!!)
10.01.2022 Python ran a baking night! Cake in a mug (all individual in their own mugs, so all good!) Joeys loved it! Parents probably not so much just before dinner!
10.01.2022 Last night we explored some of our Scouts' hidden talents (while socially distancing!) We had a fun night learning: TikTok dances (yes the Leaders gave them a go as well!), Meditation and yoga, How to stand, and How to make a folded paper tank. All in all it was a great night
10.01.2022 Playing virtual GuessWho during our last night of Zoom term 2 tonight. Thursday Cubs will be back at the hall in term 3 commencing 23rd July. Can't wait. Thanks to all the cubs and parents who have joined us online this term. It's been great fun but not quite the same as being together in person. Stay safe and look after each other during the holidays. Akela xx
09.01.2022 So proud of Thursday cubs and their teamwork at our sleepover this weekend. They developed some pioneering skills while making their teepees. Made their own tea and after a 1.5 hour hike still managed to have fun playing and supporting each other at the TreeTop Playground. We finished with a game of Chase the Ace and one cub with an Ace was unlucky enough to be between two kings.....please check comments for videos too
08.01.2022 Joeys did a community challenge last night, weeding our back yard. A huge effort but hard to notice the difference if you didn't take note beforehand!
05.01.2022 Yay, Scouts is back! Joeys wanted to visit France to see the Eiffel Tower, so they did! They voted this one the winner!
04.01.2022 Venturers spent an evening Animals Anonymous meeting Rufous Bettongs, Coastal Carpet Python, Yellow-footed Rock Wallabies and Bearded Dragons (to name a few). Thank you Trinity for showing us around where you work.
04.01.2022 Joey sleepover is going well and we are now enjoying Woodhouse-half way Point!
03.01.2022 Sleeping in the trees tonight. Have to build it first. Patrols building their tree platforms and access points. #knotsinaction #builditandtheywillcome #perfectwintersday #scoutslife
03.01.2022 Joeys had a great marshmallow feast at the Joey's 30 yr birthday camp-fire! They are a crack marshmallow cooking squad, too!
03.01.2022 Mambray Creek Hike 2020.
02.01.2022 Scouting via zoom is going quite well but nothing will beat face to face practical scouting.
02.01.2022 A brave Scout tries to cross the damn to get Snake Island
01.01.2022 Joeys tonight got into their patrols to learn about team work, cooperation and collaboration and had lots of fun with their idea- cubby building!
