21.01.2022 I shot this vid two days ago after seeding a 12 species annual cover crop plus 5 species of perennials into one of my small holding paddocks where my weaners have been. Have had another 27mm of rain since then, yee hah baby, our season is up and running at last!

18.01.2022 I captured this two days ago, I thought I’d share the possibility that exists in our landscape with a paradigm shift. We have had about 50mm of rain in total since the beginning of Feb, after a hot dry summer and very dry spring last year. Same for both sides of the fence. I can say from first hand experience the paradigm shift isn’t an easy, and the financial rewards aren’t immediate. The current prevailing farm model in WA of putting in maximum inputs and taking back as much as you can is killing our landscapes. All in the name of short term profit. We must find the middle ground. Apologies for the poor cinematography, I promise I’ll get better!
