25.01.2022 You guessed it, it's Saturday cookie day at Garden of Eden, and I've just whipped up a few baby cookies as samples. Cookies taste best when warm out of the oven!!! Are you in the area??

25.01.2022 I think it's time you got those poisonous chemicals out of your drinking water Putting in the effort now to cleanse the body means you will be rewarded in Summer, with a fitter healthier body. Winter miles brings Summer smiles!!

24.01.2022 I just cracked the seal on a 120yr Heirloom sourdough bread starter from Germany. First step was to mix it into flour and water, and keep it in a 33-37 Celcius environment for 24hrs. Watch this space!!

23.01.2022 Who better to taste test my new mango, coconut and macadamia balls, than two of the amazing staff at Garden of Eden. Mangoes are now in season, remember the key to optimum health is eating the majority of your food in season and local, we now stock a great range of fruit and vege.

22.01.2022 The secret to our pizzas, is not to skimp on sauces or toppings. 5 layers of vegetables, 3 sauces. That's how you do a Vegetarian pizza

22.01.2022 Try before you buy!! Mini nachos tasters, these are going fast.

22.01.2022 The Red Dragon Niacin Flush. On a recent fast, trying out a few different protocols, some of Bernard Jensen's, some of my own, I came across Niacin, vitamin B3, a circulation stimulant on turbo would be the understatement of the century. It is absolutely insane what it does!!... Chasing B3, I purchased Nicotinamide initially by mistake, which is a form of B3, but does not initiate the flush. Niacin on the other hand is absolutely insane, I have never experienced anything like it. Initially it is used to drive blood into all cells that are lacking oxygen and nutrients. It turns your circulation on fire, your hands heat up, your back, your feet, your head, you start changing colour, you start feeling hot as if your body is generating enormous amounts of heat. A very handy biohacking tool for detoxing and renewing old tissue, BUT be very careful, and if you have any health concerns please consult your GP beforehand. 20.01.2022 Saturdays at Garden of Eden always means fresh warm cookies out of the oven, but today I thought I'd whip up something special as well. A Banana bonofee filled Macadamia ball, they're amazing!! Every now and then you pull something out of your hat. In store today!!

20.01.2022 3rd loaf in with "Klaus" my 120yr old German sourdough starter. I love a medieval type caramelised crust, best achieved by getting the oven up to 280 degrees Celcius. It's almost sourdough workshop time.

19.01.2022 Saturday is cookie day at Garden of Eden and today I made one of my favourites, chocolate coconut chews, all gluten and dairy free of course!!

19.01.2022 Many people embarking on the road to health may feel overwhelmed with how to get started, or wondering how long they will last, before they are going to slip back into bad habits. Most often people discover the GAPS Protocol or visit a Naturopath after already exhausting their resources with different diets or commercial mainstream approaches to relieve and manage their condition. As a GAPS practitioner I specialise in Gut health, hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencie...s, appetite regulation, exercise prescription, sleep imbalances, reducing blood pressure and cholesterol, stomach acid disorders and bowel regulation. Poor gut health may show up in many ways:- -Poor immunity (Constant colds/flue/feeling of being run down) -Diarrhoea -Constipation (less than three bowel movements a day results in internal stagnation, where disease begins)) -Bloating -Reflux -Headaches -Excess gas -Stomach pains -Lethargy and fatigue -Low mood, anxiety, depression, etc -Poor concentration -Skin disorders such as acne Gut Health has become my passion and a bit of an obsession leading me to set up my own practice. I was always described as the foodie as I was studying, and prefer to obtain nutrients through foods or wholefood based concentrates rather than using isolated synthetic vitamin supplementation. There is a lot of confusion about supplements and I am available to screen what you take and give advice as sometimes it is just money down the drain. I do menu plans educating clients that a diet will fail long term, this is a lifestyle. Book in now for up to 20% off our regular consultation fee, includes a 1hr consult, a written report(approx 1hr) and a 15min recap to guide you through your report and answer questions.

17.01.2022 A new ball for the weekend, fresh mango, coconut and macadamia, coated in an organic dark chocolate. Don't mind if I do, there's 12 in the cabinet for Sunday, first in first served.

16.01.2022 A little rusty on my sourdough, but 1st attempt with my 120yr old German sourdough starter, there is nothing like a caramelised crust that crunches as you slice it, especially with a grass fed cultured butter.

15.01.2022 Preparing the vanilla protein dip for my Highland oats. Ingredients 1 cup of my super yogurt (706 billion probiotics per cup, that's 353 probiotic pills, that's how you change gut flora) 2 egg yolks... 2 tlbs Jersey cream 1 TSP of vanilla extract 1 tlbs of honey Combine all ingredients and stir until smooth.

13.01.2022 Many people don't ever have a go at making activated nut milks because they believe they are too time consuming, watch me live at Garden of Eden making an activated almond milk that leaves pre-made nut milks for dead. They are more nutritious, fresher, cheaper and best of all, can be made in under 5 minutes!! Have a go.
