24.01.2022 The most successful adverts on social media are those where there is authenticity. Where you let your audience in and allow them to discover who you are and what you do. Where you display some passion, meaning and purpose and really take pride in your work. Because in all honesty, social media advertising isn't about advertising any more, it's about relationship building. Even if you're selling widgets, nowadays you must build a relationship with all the people who need widge...ts so they know, like and trust you to handle all their widget needs. And here's the thing: This relationship cannot be fake. You have to eat, sleep and breathe widgets, you have to be obsessed with them, you HAVE to have a mission to revolutionise the widget world. You have to be at every widget event. People who do this have AMAZING success on social media because that's what it's designed to do - build relationships. But if you're heart isn't really in it, then success can be a hard slog. How much to do eat, sleep and breathe the products you advertise on social media?

23.01.2022 Strategies, tools and techniques for getting leads on social media will come and go. But one thing will always remain - the need for you to communicate with other human beings in a way that RESONATES. In a way that makes them say "This guy or gal GETS it." Sure you might know what their needs are, or their demographics, or even that they have a penchant for exotic dancing, but that usually isn't enough to create the kind of connection that results in a solid relationship. So...... I ask myself 2 questions when I'm preparing to communicate with an audience for a campaign. And those questions are these: - HOW would they FEEL if their problem remained unsolved? What might happen? - HOW will they FEEL when their problem IS solved? What do they hope will happen? If I don't know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the answers to these questions, then I stop writing and spend more time understanding my audience. How well do you understand YOUR audience? B
