19.01.2022 Our 2nd car which was completely built here in Australia from ground up. Some shout outs go to Richard Botica for building the best chassis anyone could ever want! And Alan Odgers for hand rolling/fabricating the amazing all alloy body. Graham Blake drives it and we transplanted the 540ci BBC from car 1 into this car. We won the NSW track championship in 2012 and 2018 with this car. In 2016 we swapped the 540ci stack injected BBC motor out for a completly new 632ci stack injected Chevy. Photos will come on another post.

19.01.2022 Well, what a year 2019 has been for #blakeracing ! Today we ran the final of the #aturatrackchampionships @sydneydragway and @graham.blake.fed_271 behind the wheel of our modified FED managed to secured the NSW track championship number 1 spot. We lost in first round, however with enough points we remained on top for the win! Weve worked hard at maintaining the car behind the scenes through out the year and had some fantastic results. We ran a PB of 7.15 @ 188mph throughout ...the season. Thank you to everyone that has contributed to the success of #blakeracing in 2019. Thank you @andrew_gabriel_2510 , Ronnie and the Collier family and of course our family. Mum @lizblake53 and my father Darron Blake, @kp1717 , @kelbisme and Archie for their love and support on and off the track. Wed like to thank our sponsors. 18.01.2022 #winterwarmups day 1 completed. The outrageous aircon swap in our trailer to keep warm over night was carried out in between racing. A success was had with a 7.26 @ 188mph. 10.01.2022 A successful test yesterday @dayofthedrags. Only managed pair of 6.1 @ 233mph but were happy with the results. The car is clean. The motor is very happy. The new carbon brakes worked well and the new safety box did its job perfectly.

05.01.2022 Round 5 of the #aturatrackchampionships at #sydneydragway last weekend we were able to extend our lead in the points. We have been tinkering with the car over the past month and we managed a PB of 7.15 @ 188mph. We have some other ideas we want to try at the next testing day. 05.01.2022 We then purchased a 3rd car. Originally driven by Adam Sorokin and won the 2010 heritage series in USA. It was purchased as a roller but we completely rebuilt the whole car. Not 1 part was left untouched. We then transplanted the blown BBC out of car 1 into this current car 3. We ran it a handful of times and ended up getting rid of the blown BBC. Geoff was able to purchase a blown Noonan Hemi which will be shown in another post.

05.01.2022 The next stage of the #blakeracing journey was putting a blown BBC into (car 1). It ran a best time of 6.46 @ 224mph. The injected BBC was taken out of this car and put into a new car we were building. @graham.blake.fed_271 (car 2). The next post will show Graham's cars progression over the years.
