24.01.2022 Hello Parents/Guardians, Just wanted to touch base with everyone with only two sessions remaining at our Auskick centre all things going well with the weather!! This Thursday night Frazer will be running the session solo as I have other work commitments which prevents me from attending unfortunately. Once again I ask if you can make sure to put your hand up to help Frazer out where required, running a centre with 40 plus kids cant be done without the help of our adult volun...teers. I will also take this opportunity to thank everyone that has helped out so far this year. Auskick centres cant run without your help and on behalf of both myself and Frazer we thank you!!! Finally just a friendly reminder about the opportunity of becoming an Auskick co-ordinator for our centre at Blakes Crossing. Like Ive mentioned previously becoming an Auskick co-ordinator comes with a few benefits such as SANFL passes, AFL tickets and AFL Auskick merchandise. Currently our centre is on Thursday nights in Term 2; however, this centre can be conducted on any afternoon and timeslot which suits the co-ordinator. Ideally we would like a centre in our CDFC zone to be conducted on a Sunday morning because currently we do not have this day/timeslot available to this region. If you are keen to take this on board please come and see myself or Frazer at either of our last two sessions so we can make sure Blakes Crossing Auskick continues next year. Thanks,

23.01.2022 Well done to all participants for completing this seasons inaugural Auskick centre at Blakes Crossing, a big thanks goes out to all the parents that help take stations throughout the 8 week program and also to Katelyn Rosenzweig who helped each week. Be sure to keep an eye out for upcoming information regarding the 2017 Auskick centre start dates but In the mean time keep practising kicking, hand balling and marking to make sure your skills get better so your ready... to go again next season. 17.01.2022 Hi All Please be advised if the weather is rainy on Wednesday afternoon Auskick will NOT be on.. There will not be any added trainings as School Holidays start on the 7th July, sorry for any inconvenience. Participation certificate will be left at the front office of the college for the week and after that I will hand them to Central District Football Club(Jarrad Brennan) for collection. ... 14.01.2022 Hi Everyone - Registrations are now open! Flyers will be coming home from school over the next few weeks, but you can register without one. Just head to www.aflauskick.com.au, search for Blakes Crossing and follow the prompts to register. Newly designed participant packs this year with the footy in the pack, plus every registration will receive invitations to special Auskick sessions with players from the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide! We hope to see you out there!

12.01.2022 Time really does fly and after 5 weeks of Auskick we are over the halfway point of our program with only 4 weeks remaining. Both Frazer and myself have had a blast getting to know the kids and getting them involved with AFL in a fun environment. Thanks to all the parent/guardian helpers so far and we hope you continue to be involved by enjoying the experience of Auskick with your children. Just a reminder that we will need a new Auskick coordinator for next years program, so if you would like to know more please come and see me at one of our Auskick sessions (There are some great perks for being an Auskick coordinator!!). 10.01.2022 Hi All I would like to thank all this years Auskick Participants for attending the Blakes Crossing centre. I would also like to thank the helpers that made themselves available each week, to make the centre run efficiently so the kids get full value the centre needs committed volunteers/parents that are willing to attended each week and bring new ideas. I hope next season I get the same commitment if not more to help out, for the centre to grow and deliver a fun and education...al session more help is needed. Please think about any involvement for next season if your child is a returning Auskicker, there is relevant training provided for parents who want to take there coaching involvement to the next level. 08.01.2022 Hi Parent/Guardian What a great first three weeks we have had at Blakes Crossing Auskick so far, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time up to date with all the children and I am looking forward to the rest of the program. Its been a successful implementation of the new Auskick 2.0 program and that cant be done without amazing kids plus very helpful parents! Tomorrow the program will still be going ahead but the session will be lead by Frazer OGorman (Central District Developmen...t Officer), you will all know Frazer as my right hand man over the last two sessions. Unfortunately I have badly sprained my ankle over the weekend and cannot put weight on it which means running the session will be quiet tough!! I also have a work conference which may mean I might be a tad late which is unavoidable. What I will ask is if parents can make sure they make themselves available to help Frazer wherever possible as Auskick cannot be run by one man alone and especially with over 40 participants which is what we now have. Can you please make sure you see him before the session and ask him how can I help, he is very approachable and would appreciate the support. It would mean running a station for a brief period of time and its a great way to get involved with the kids. Thankyou in advance for your cooperation and look forward to seeing everyone. Cheers!

03.01.2022 Hi Everyone, just letting everyone know that we are still all go for tonights Auskick 3:30pm til 4:15pm. As football is a winter sport we will still be conducting clinics if it's raining; however, for thunderstorms sessions will be cancelled. Looking forward to meeting everybody tonight and kicking off what will be a great term of AUSKICK!!!
