18.01.2022 Increasingly we are seeing people going for a COVID test- which is great that people are doing their part! But then they are coming to the pharmacy.... We are MORE than happy to deliver locally to you on week days, and if it’s an emergency on the weekend we can probably work it out! If you are in need of a test you should immediately self isolate and not visit any other shops, cafes etc. If you are coming to the pharmacy for cold and flu products then you should probably be g...etting a test and then staying home. The new guidelines for getting a test include things like a runny nose even in the absence of fever, sore throat etc. We have even bought an electric scooter for this purpose and the staff LOVE getting out of the pharmacy. 14.01.2022 We’ve had a few people worried about our Pharmacist Michelle because they know she works in the Pharmacy at St Vincent’s...Michelle works in the Public hospital, the group dinner that has been in the papers concerns those working in the Private hospital and they are two completely different entities, they do not cross over in anyway. She appreciates the concern but will be at work tomorrow night as per usual (workaholic ). If you’re eligible they will reimburse you $40 for your time, either a bank transfer or a voucher if your account is over drawn (they think of everything!). With Covid and the changes to the way we interact they are having trouble reaching their target numbers. It’s all confidential - how do you get paid then? Well the person paying you has no idea about what answers you have provided.
