25.01.2022 The Blanchetown RSL Sub Branch would like to confirm that the club is closed due to COVID 19 until further notice All events including the upcoming boot sale have been suspended On ANZAC Day the club will be closed. It is hoped the flags will be at half mast and wreaths will be out on the day and we ask that you remember our veterans past or present on the day

24.01.2022 As previously posted and as a reminder the Blanchetown RSL sub branch is closed this weekend 12/13 September and the following weekend 19/20 September for renovations

24.01.2022 The Blanchetown RSL sub branch will be closed this weekend 21/22 November and if restrictions are lifted we will be open the following weekend Restrictions imposed in response to Adelaide’s COVID cluster. South Australia has implemented a 'circuit breaker' beginning at 12:01am, 19 November 2020, with the aim to stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community.... For the next six days, South Australians are required to stay home, with all businesses except those providing essential services to temporarily close. Schools, universities, and other educational facilities will also close.

19.01.2022 There will be a Car Boot Sale on the October long weekend in the RSL carpark on Saturday 3rd October 8am to 12pm. $5 per boot or trailer on the day. BBQ bacon and Egg Sangas available. Come and support the local community and RSL

11.01.2022 Good morning, I would like to draw attention to today being Long Tan Day. The Battle of Long Tan took place in Phuoc Tuy Province, Vietnam on 18 August 1966 between the People’s Army of Vietnam and D Company, Royal Australian Regiment and Elimiments of 1st Australian Task Force.

10.01.2022 A beautiful dawn this ANZAC day. While no public ceremoney was held the flags were raised and wreaths laid. The ode and national anthem were played and the last post was eerily loud to help the township "light up the dawn" Lest We Forget. If you wish to pay your respects you are welcome to do so and it would be appreciated if you leave a donation in the tin provided.

10.01.2022 The Blanchetown RSL Sub Branch reopened on Saturday 6th June with the same opening hours on weekends and public holidays as always. A COVID safe plan has been submitted with 20 people allowed inside and 20 outside. The layout of the club has changed to help social distancing, any questions just ask a committee member. We look forward to seeing you all again

08.01.2022 Great news for the Blanchetown RSL in the granting of a DVA grant of $30,000 for Solar panels, Defibrillator, Air-conditioning and interior renovations

02.01.2022 Renovations have commenced using the money from the DVA grant. Solar was installed on Thursday. The club will be closed on the weekends of 12/13 Sep and 19/20 Sep for the internal side of the renovations

01.01.2022 While the Blanchetown Sub Branch will be closed this ANZAC Day you may like to take part in the National Light up the Dawn concept. If you wish to light up a candle and be in your driveway between 5.55am and 6am, hopefully you will hear the last post being broadcast by our Sub Branch loud enough to be heard around the township. If during the day you would like to pay your respects at the memorial there will be a donation tin to support the Blanchetown Sub Branch at the memorial. Lest We Forget
