Pictured here standing outside his #KatherineNT bakery in 1919, which he decorated with quirky descriptions of his pastry products. According to a newspaper exert from the era, he is ready and willing to tell passersby that he serves one of the worlds largest areas from the smallest bakery. #weirdpies #strangepastries

16.01.2022 A quick moment to reflect at #blastcoffeeroasters: Coffee tragics, we started our #coffeeroasting journey in #KatherineNT in 2009 by mucking around roasting and blending very small batches of coffee with a tiny machine for ourselves, family and friends. Seven years on and a few tonnes of beans through the roaster later, we now have a commercial size roaster and are producing and supplying a consistently high quality coffee product to people, cafes and carts all over the #Territory and beyond. Weve just done a 17,000km lap of the map, checking out whats going on in the rest of the country, a bit of coffee research and a bit of mountain biking research and now we are ready and rocking to take on 2016. It is a big year this year for us, we are expanding considerably, releasing a second blend and opening our first shop front in Katherine in April.
