20.01.2022 Today is International Day of the Volunteer. Community sport in Australia rides on the backs of volunteers, no matter what code is played, as do so many other... areas of our community life. To the 1000's of Volunteers within our affiliated clubs and to those who serve our Association directly, be it on boards as Directors, on panels convened to deal with specific areas of governance, as Coaches, Managers, Trainers, Club Committees, Ground Maintenance crews, social media managers, whatever it is you do so your community can enjoy sport and continue to keep the costs down, without having to pay wages to everyone who works to deliver it, THANK YOU! We couldn't do it without you. Ask anyone who volunteers, and they'll tell you about the many benefits that it brings to their lives. If you don't volunteer already, think about giving a few hours a week, a month or a year back to your community in some way. Either in sport, with the elderly, your local school, the needy or with an organisation who needs volunteers to deliver what they do. Even A-League clubs like Western Sydney Wanderers FC have a troop of volunteers!. So whatever it is that interests you, if you've got a couple of hours to spare, put your hand up and enjoy the experience. And if you don't volunteer, that's ok to, but don't forget to say thank you to those who do so you can enjoy life without paying too much for it. We are looking at expressions of interest for players wishing to trial in the first team for the following age groups for the 2021 Season Under 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and Under 12G, 13G, 14G, 16G and 17G Please understand that this is for the first team in each age group. If you do not wish to play in the top team in your age group, that is totally fine. ...If this is the case, you do not need to fill out an EOI, you can register with the club when registrations open in January and come along to grading, which will be held in February (dates to be advised).
