12.01.2022 It's been a busy week at BEPS. On Wednesday and Thursday we held our annual Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking competition. Once again the standard was extremely high and most importantly our students showed a deep and thorough understanding of multiculturalism. Over 50 students participated courageously in what can be a very nerve wracking experience. Congratulations to everyone who competed. One winner was selected from each grade and will now record a video of ...their speech (at school) for submission to the local final. A runner up and 2 highly commended were also awarded. 03.01.2022 Our pyjama mufti day was a huge success. Did you know that up until today, Gateway Family Services had NO deodorant or shampoo to give to needy families? The staff and volunteers at Gateway want to sincerly thank the Blaxland East community for all our generous donations. A big thank you to the hard working SRC who collected, sorted, carried and delivered hundreds of items today.

03.01.2022 Once again our NAIDOC day celebrations were met with beautiful sunshine and clear blue skies. The official NAIDOC day has been moved this year to 8-15 October due to Covid but we kept our date in case there were fire bans at that time. Many thanks to Mrs Bryan and Mrs Pearson for organising a fun filled educational day.
