24.01.2022 Hi all, We have made a decision in the light of the covid-19 concerns to suspend class for the next month. This decision hasnt been made lightly and is made with the consideration of: - The restrictions and advice from the government are becoming more specific and narrowed down. - My (Michelles) workload, as my role is impacted by covid-19 and my need to support students in the university sector. I cannot guarantee my availability to run a class. - That some of the... committee and members are carers for elderly family and the risks associated with that. - Dieter has nerve damage to one of his arms and the chance to recuperate will be helpful. - Potential reduced numbers at class due to covid-19 concerns I realise this may be disappointing but by taking this step we are trying to ensure that we can be there to support you in the future. We will assess this throughout the month and come back with a date for class to restart. At this point we are looking to return on Monday 20th April (taking into consideration the public holiday the week before).

13.01.2022 Hi all, This is an update for our new members who are starting tonight. - 7pm start and this is an induction class. This class will run for approximately 20 - 25 minutes. ... - Arrive 15 minutes early so we can process your payment. - we DON'T have eftpos so it is cash only - Wear a mask - this is compulsory for ALL that are on the grounds. - Bring your Dog. - Bring your vaccination papers - Bring your member registration form **** IMPORTANT NOTE: For the next 3 - 4 weeks it is important that ONE person train your dog, so if there is a few of you on the membership don't swap until you have the basic weeks covered. 03.01.2022 Return Plan Hi all, we are currently working on our plan of return and at this point hope this will be in the first week of July. There will be logistic around this and agreement from our members will be required. We are really conscious of the fact we are now in winter where viruses may be more likely to spread, we have members and instructors who are either in the danger group for covid-19 or are caring for others that are in the danger group. ... We will be taking the measures we put in place very seriously and expect you to do the same. Some of the things we are currently nutting out include: - distancing rules - if you have any cold symptoms you will not be allowed to join class and will be asked to leave - hygiene needs such as hand sanitiser - maximum numbers per class - potential 2 waves of classes at different times on Monday evenings. - potential that people will need to register confirm their attendance for the following week so we can schedule classes. This will help us to identify how many classes we need and how many instructors we need on grounds each week. As you can see from the above points I take this very seriously. I dont like the idea of anyone being put at risk and so we want to reduce risks as much as possible. Watch this space as I will be posting questions and polls over the coming week to seek your feedback. - Regards Michelle Gillard on behalf of the team.

02.01.2022 A gentle reminder that tonight is the 2nd last new member night for the year, with the last occurring in November. Details for those wishing to join the club: Please note that due to covid-19 restrictions ALL those on the grounds must wear a face mask.... Do NOT bring your dog tonight. We train at Penrith Paceway, the end closest to the swimming pool and near the can recycling area. - Please arrive prior to 7pm as the info session will start at 7pm sharp. - When you arrive please come to the shed so we can record your details and take your temperature. All people on grounds must have their temperature taken and wear a mask. - The talk will go for around 30 minutes and then if you wish you are welcome to watch a class. - If you decide the club is the right one for you, you return next week with your dog, forms and payment and then start class. I will not get to meet you tonight as I am unwell but you will be looked after by John, Caroline and Dieter. ****** If it rains, please check here for an update as class and info night may need to be cancelled **************

01.01.2022 Hi all. At this point both class and new member night are on. PLEASE NOTE: NEW MEMBER NIGHT: If you are coming down for new member night please be there by 7pm. If you are late I will not have time to go over what you have missed and you will have to come to the march info night. ... EXISTING MEMBERS: I have just quickly run out of work to check the training grounds and the grounds are wet (no real surprise due to the weather). So, if you come down tonight please be aware that your dog will get wet and potentially dirty as we will be doing all the usual drop, sits etc. IF IT RAINS AGAIN I WILL PUT ANOTHER NOTICE UP CONFIRMING IF CLASS IS ON OR OFF.
