23.01.2022 Today we celebrate Founders Day! In the busyness of the start of the school and Scouting year, it's important to take a moment and reflect on our roots. Lord Ro...bert Baden-Powell opened the door for Scouts around the world to impact millions of young people, as well as their communities. Like our Youth Members, Baden-Powell fulfilled his potential, writing over 30 books about his travels and Scouting. Like our Adult Members, he freely gave his time and energy to the betterment of the Scouting program and the young people it empowers. 21.01.2022 Recently we had to say goodbye to not one but two of our rovers: Joey was the second to be booted on this sad and exciting day We asked her about his scouting history and what they enjoyed most about scouting / rovers and if she would join fellowship or become a leader:... 16.01.2022 Over the last couple of weeks the crew has been doing a mixture of both online and in person crew activities such as: Pictionary DND VR in real life (Following all stat e and Scouting guidlines for COVID-19) ... 05.01.2022 Recently we had to say goodbye to not one but two of our rovers: Jeremy was the first to be booted on this sad and exciting day We asked him about his scouting history and what they enjoyed most about scouting / rovers and if he would join fellowship or become a leader:... "Yes, planning to join Waratah Fellowship My scout history: I joined rovers just before Dragon Skin 2017. It was the first time I really experienced the culture of scouts. After attending way too many round tables, I was invested into the group as a squire and assigned Blake as my knight. I slowly progressed through my skills in knots, leadership, organisation etc. I’ve attended a few notable events including Snow Moot 2017... I also attended Camp Griz where we played nerf wars... The most fun I’ve had was Skin 2019 where we really bonded as a unit and played Warewolf... We also won best limerick just quietly. It feels like just yesterday that I was knighted (as he was knighted on the Saturday before) and now I’m retiring from the crew.
