08.01.2022 Well today was not our day but we are SO PROUD of our debaters! The topic was that we should ban all sports involving animals. We were the affirmative team. Despit some wonderful points regarding the Melbourne Cup, bull fighting, dog fighting, the running of the bulls etc, we didn’t explain how this ban would come into force and whether it would be in Australia or worldwide. Tricky stuff at the Primary level. Congratulations team! You learned and progressed so much! Hope you keep at it in the future. PS. 666 schools started the competition. These clever kids were in the last 64 teams, 32 of which would have been eliminated this round. Celebrate your success, Mia, James, Sacha and Jude.
