12.01.2022 Wow! We only announced we were coming to Dubbo 3 hours ago and the response has been incredible! The phone has been ringing off the hook. We’re almost completely booked on Saturday so we’re opening up appointments for Sunday too!

12.01.2022 In order to continue to comply with Covid-19 restrictions, we are still limiting family/friends into the ultrasound room for any diagnostic or entertainment ultrasound. If you are coming in for a pregnancy ultrasound, you are able to bring along your partner (or other adult). We are unable to have any other family/friends or children in attendance. Due to the waiting room being unattended at times during scans, children are unable to wait in the waiting room unattended.

10.01.2022 FUN FACT FRIDAY As October is breast cancer awareness month, our fun facts this month will revolve around breast ultrasound. The first breast ultrasound images (echograms) were published in 1952.... High frequency ultrasound was originally used in the military during WWI and WWII to detect flaws in metal. Development of the technology paved the way to the high frequency ultrasound that is used in medicine today to scan superficial body parts such as the breast. See more

06.01.2022 FUN FACT FRIDAY The ultrasound waves used to create breast ultrasound images are too high for humans to hear, but they are within the range of what dogs and cats can hear. All of our ultrasound facts this month are related to breast ultrasound in support of breast cancer awareness month. If you have any breast symptoms or are due for a routine check-up, be sure to see your doctor.

02.01.2022 Today’s fun fact is related to 3D ultrasound in celebration of our first pop-up 3D clinic in Parkes next week! 3D ultrasound has been around for much longer than you probably think! The first 3D image of a baby was produced in 1986. The technology has most definitely come a long way since then though...just look at this comparison between the first 3D image and what we see now

02.01.2022 The ideal time for 3D/4D of baby’s face is between 28-30 weeks. At this age, baby is big enough that their facial features have filled out but still small enough that if they’re in a bad position, we’ve still got a hope of getting them to move. 3D is still possible later in the pregnancy but is much more dependent on baby’s position. Once they’re a bit bigger, it’s much harder to convince them to move. There is also often less amniotic fluid around baby’s face later in the pregnancy. Lots of fluid is essential to getting great pics of bub.

02.01.2022 I think he's on to us!

01.01.2022 Did you know that the ideal time for 3D of bub’s face tends to be between 28-30 weeks?
