19.01.2022 Blazeaid Running Stream in Urgent need of Volunteers With more than 50 kilometres of fencing still be rebuilt following the devastating bushfire season, we are in urgent need of more volunteers! BlazeAid has been blessed this year with with an influx of volunteers from our international backpacker travellers. However, we are currently very low in volunteer numbers and are in desperate need of help from our Australian residents. If you are fit, healthy and looking to help out ...farmers and property owners that have lost fencing due the fires, please contact us and join our team. I guarantee an amazing, life-changing experience where you are able to see some amazing countryside whilst helping people that are extremely worthy and grateful of our help. If it's for a few days or a few weeks, we have a great little camp with accommodation available along with powered sites for caravans and campers. 19.01.2022 ? You now have more time to apply for the $75,000 Primary Producer Grant. And the grant is being extended to... more people. The Aus Gov recently announced applications will now be accepted up to December 2020. Plus, eligibility criteria has been expanded with four key changes: Adjusted the off-farm income threshold, making it easier to be eligible. Extra time for applicants to reach the 50 per cent income threshold, in recognition of the long lead-times required by some sectors to reach full production. You don’t need to be registered for GST, but you must still hold an ABN. If you earn more than 50 per cent of your income from primary production goods made directly from that produce, you will now be eligible. If you have previously applied for the $75,000 Primary Producer Grant and were unsuccessful, you will not need to re-apply if you satisfy the new criteria. 18.01.2022 BlazeAid Running Stream is looking for Volunteers! We have very comfortable accommodation in the Farm View Cafe in Running Stream NSW. Located just under 200km’s from Sydney, half way between Lithgow and Mudgee, it is truly a beautiful part of Australia. The area was devastated by bush fire just before Christmas with over 50 properties affected. We are a relatively small camp and need backpackers, grey nomads and anyone willing to lend a hand to our wonderful property owners.
