23.01.2022 Many thanks to all those wonderful families and children who attended the Cultural Concert for Bledisloe School on Thursday evening. It was a beautiful evening and we were so proud of all our tamariki. Thanks for your tautoko of our school and our special events. You make our school community great! Ng mihi nui ki a koutou!

20.01.2022 We are aware that several places (including Napier Port) have evacuated their staff. These places are directly by the sea and may be affected by large tidal swells or unusual sea activity. THERE IS NO DANGER in Taradale, and we have NOT HAD ANY EVACUATION notices. Please be assured that we will be following this closely and taking advice from Civil Defence.

13.01.2022 Morena whnau, I am sure there are many of us feeling a little tired after this morning's early wake up call! Please know that we are closely monitoring the ongoing situation with alerts for other parts of the country. If we did need to evacuate, which DOES NOT look likely at the moment, we have practiced this before and we know what to do. Our evacuation point is Dolbel Reserve and we would be walking from school, up Meeanee Road, to the hill. Our communication with you would be through HERO and Facebook. 07.01.2022 Our end of year 'Cushion Concert' is being held tonight at the Taradale Intermediate School Hall from 5.30pm until about 6.30pm. Parking will be available on our courts if you wish. This event is a lovely celebration of 'The Arts' at Bledisloe School and is most successful when lots of our children attend. Tonight we have a number of spot prizes, giveaways and our raffle being drawn too. We hope that you can come and look forward to seeing you there!

04.01.2022 Beyond the Bell after school care at Bledisloe is still going this afternoon. They have cancelled their Westshore venue only.

02.01.2022 Today your child's school report will come home. Remember to check those school bags! If you would like extra information, or need to follow up anything from these reports, please use the email addresses that are given at the end of the report. On another note, if your children are going to be away tomorrow, or any day, can you please ring, text, email or use Seesaw to let us know. I am writing this at 10am and Sharyn is still working her way through unexplained absences. T...his is too long to be spending on this. Children who are absent without explanation become truant. Next year we will be notifying the Truancy Service about these students after 2 days. Regular attendance at school is a really important factor in learning success.
