08.01.2022 Hello Blenheim lovelies We’ve got some good news feels for you on this fine Saturday. We've wrapped up our financials and we thought you'd want to know where your money has gone this year. Firstly, this year’s donations have taken BlenheimFest’s total donations to OVER $100,000!!!! This is such an amazing effort by all our punters over the years, WELL DONE!! We have continued our support of the Auburn CFS in 2018, donating $4,000. The Auburn CFS kindly donate their time each... year to help out at the festival, providing traffic management support. They are also extremely important for the local community, especially as we head into the hot months. We have also donated to the local Auburn and Watervale Primary Schools. Both primary schools nominated a project that the funds would be used on. $2,000 went to Watervale Primary School to purchase a full mud kitchen, 2 wooden benches, and a stainless-steel hand pump for water into their sandpit. $1,000 was donated to Auburn Primary School to set up an area where children can design and create with wood during lessons and playtime. And last but not least, the funds for New Hope Cambodia, a little over $9,000, will go directly into student sponsorships. This will provide students with medical treatment, bikes and school supplies to support them through their education. Education is one of the most valuable tools we can give young people who are disadvantaged, enabling them to break the cycle of poverty. Thanks to all who keep supporting us, so we can keep supporting these worthy causes. See more
