14.01.2022 A VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! ... To all of our wonderful families, friends and customers..... Wowee! What a year it has been for us all so far. 2020 will certainly be one to remember. As you all know, back in March, the Australian government took steps to protect us all from COVID-19 and we along with every other café, restaurant and bar were closed down. It wasn't long before we found ourselves open again, and although we weren't allowed to offer you a meal or refreshments inside our café, we were allowed to offer take-aways, and so that is exactly what we did. But unfortunately, the restrictions have definitely made our lives challenging. Although we were eventually allowed to invite you inside to enjoy our hospitality again, we are still not permitted to have a full house. So we find ourselves 6 months in and quite simply it is just not financially viable for us to operate our café as you know it and stay open. Business has been very quiet and our number one priority is the well-being of our team. The stress that comes from worrying about how to pay our rent and power bill during this time is not worth the negative impact it has on all of us. As you can appreciate, we have to sell a lot of $4 cups of coffee to keep our landlady happy, and sadly we are simply not busy enough. This is not the end of Blessed Cheese, in fact this is far from it but we would love it if you could think of this as a new beginning. Our famous Cheese and Wine Trails will continue, in fact we are working with our favourite wineries and with a little tweaking, our trails will be even better than ever before! Our catering service will continue to grow with new and exciting packages to choose from. We cater for birthdays, weddings, baby showers through to corporate catering. We have introduced an exciting range of cheesy gift boxes to choose from and of course we now have a spectacular Croquembouch to add to your special occasion to give you the wow factor! So as we spend the next few weeks packing up and moving towards some new and exciting fresh beginnings, please pop in with your lovely smiles and grab a coffee or a bite to eat and we will tell you about our exciting news for the future. 06.01.2022 Today we visited our favourite furry friends at the Adelaide Koala and Wildlife Hospital. We wanted to share with you a few pictures of some of the hospitals patients who are currently receiving treatment. We were so happy to see that the money we raised at our fundraiser in March of this year has helped to buy in some very important medical equipment to help to bring these beautiful animals back to good health. We have promised to help out again in the New Year with more fun...d-raising efforts.
