09.01.2022 Happy Wednesday Morning... I had a little unsettled sleep. First time my Mr 9 (almost 10) went to camp. The house last night was filled with silence . There was no pressure of rattling those pots & pans (instead I poured myself a GT) as there was no rush to cook dinner. No little man yelling im hungry what time is dinner. Michael and I had a laid back night, we ordered some take out and watched Netflix ... so relaxing and much needed but I couldnt help my thoughts were ...always with Mr 9..... did I pack enough warm clothes, I hope he isnt cold (blah blah blah) kids grow so fast and before I know it he will be ready to leave the nest (my nest) and in his own place living his best life. I know how fast time goes as for those of you that dont know me my baby girl is 29 years old and a fabulous mother herself to a beautiful 3 month old baby boy. Im a grandmother just like that and I love every second of it . Victoria is my reminder daily to hold onto today a little tighter, go a little slower and let the washing pile up, who cares if beds are not fixed and floors not washed just enjoy the small things a little more (Im a clean freak but am learning slowly to let go ). So this morning for the first time in forever Im enjoying a hot coffee (with my spoon in it... crazy but its a habit ) and watching my favourite episodes of SATC in bed. I love my crazy life and miss my kids not being home but gee it feels good to just chill for a minute and reboot!!
