24.01.2022 Tic-tic-tic-tic BOOM Times almost Up Melburnians! I seriously wondered if this day would ever come. So excited to be turning back the clock to life pre-stage 4 lockdown, getting back on the tools and rummaging around in my clients homes again #backinmyhappyplace... First I might need to swap out my PJ’s and slippers, or burn them as I’m pretty sure it’s no longer socially acceptable attire, and don my work uniform. As exciting as it is to be entering my clients homes and the world beyond my four walls it doesn’t come without some #anxiety or trepidation. For the past 7 months I’ve lived by the Covid rules and I’m hesitant to understand how I place the feelings I have right now about exploring elements of life beyond these now engraved boundaries. I’m sure some of you may feel the same. So don’t be too hasty in moving forward .. take baby steps if you need, and remember whilst you may have missed it do you really want to enter back into all the elements of life that existed before Covid. You get to choose how to move forward from here and make some positive changes in your next chapter. To all my gorgeous clients who have been patiently waiting - Thankyou. 19.01.2022 PHOTO STORAGE OK so I have a confession to make, organising photos is a task that’s been on my to do list for some time. When my kids were younger and I used a digital SLR camera to take all my pics, or even back in the day of roll film #yesiamthatold - I made a habit of downloading and printing off my pics on a regular basis.... With the introduction of smartphones and the fact they automatically sink to my PC has meant I’ve become rather slack with the process. So my project whilst my girls continue with their #onlinelearning is to organise my physical #photostorage I was tired of the amount of space the physical albums were taking up in the cupboard. This is seriously the best storage going around @spotlightstores and is perfect for all our 4 inch x 6 inch prints. Sorting, grouping and decluttering all those double ups certainly saves on space and boy did I throw out a lot of photos. I’ve realised I now have soo many photos on my PC I still need to organise into categories along with selecting those I want to print. So wish me luck! .... Gumtree advertisers etc that have directly lifted content written by myself or my clients from my website to advertise themselves....... Look maybe I should take it as a compliment that the last 10 years of slugging my guts out to run a business as a sole trader....is something these newbies aspire to or are inspired by... But I’m not feeling complimented. I’m FN angry.... Yes I am an Expertly Accredited Professional Organiser - and yes I have a piece of paper to prove it - I am highly respected by my peers and clients... #iveworkedmybuttoff So what gives you self righteous individuals the right to my content. To ensure you use your home data plan - rather than mobile usage- turn off all mobile usage. Go to Settings - Select Mobile - Scroll down and turn off any apps that are green.
