20.01.2022 The Tzannes + Blight Rayner designed Western Sydney University Innovation Hub State Significant Development Application is now on exhibition. The vertical campus will provide the University with a spatial configuration that maximises public engagement with engineering. The project is a joint venture development with the Western Sydney University (WSU) in partnership with Charter Hall. We are ecstatic and incredibly honoured to be chosen to design this significant cultural project for Brisbane. The new venue will make QPAC the largest performing arts centre in Australia and will provide another way for Queensland’s arts organisations to showcase local talent and tell unique stories.

With an on-completion value of circa $650 million, the proposed development is set to revitalise Brisbanes prestigious Queen Street, providing extensive connectivity at street level, with a vibrant retail laneway and public piazza.

11.01.2022 Last week the new St Margarets Anglican Girls School Sports Precinct was officially opened by the Governor of Queensland and celebrated with musical performances and rock climbing in the new Philip Harris Gym, and throwing ducks into the new pool. This new consolidated sports complex is designed to rethink the way sport and learning coalesce. The names of the donors who contributed to the funding the project are featured on a travertine wall that runs alongside the pool area. 11.01.2022 2019 is off to an exciting start! We have been working with Tzannes to refine our design for Charter Hall & Western Sydney Universitys mixed-use Engineering Innovation Hub at 6 Hassall Street, Parramatta. The volume carved out in the middle of the building allows anyone who comes into the plaza to see what is happening within the building and also provides occupants with connecting vistas to the outside.
