22.01.2022 Hey guys as most of you know by now we recently did some earth works at the Blights Haulage Base. We have dug out and moved most of the hill to level all around our hay shed to make a truck pad. Thanks to Road Tech for supplying all the gear and doing the job. Mum and Dad for supplying the farm and helping drag all the trees out the way and clean up before the machines arrived. ... for being there for professional banter and support. The finished product looks bloody amazing I reckon. Murray Blight

14.01.2022 Gday everyone Hope your all keeping well and getting through this co-vid pandemic ok. Weve been fairly flat out lately, just like the rest of transport industry, and havent been able to get many posts up so I figured I better try and get back onto it. ... Just the other day we took delivery of our new tippers (better late then never) and we think theyve turned out pretty good. Looking forward to getting them back out on the highway and onto our clients farms. Hope you guys like them as much as we do. Watch this space for more updates on what weve done back at home to and from the team at Blights Haulage we thank you for your support and business.

07.01.2022 Hope everyone had a good week, and that your now sitting back enjoying this rain. We finished off our week with something a little different, but something were happy to do more of. Just another Blights Haulage service keeping WA moving.

05.01.2022 Hey everyone, as most of you know already last weekend we had an accident involving one of our trucks that was loaded with sheep heading east. The accident occurred during the late hours of Saturday night only minutes after the driver had stopped for a routine check of the vehicle and load. The cause of the accident was a large bull camel that ran out onto the road and then begun running down the road with the truck. Leaving the driver with no good options and no safe way o...ut for himself or the load. The outcome unfortunately ended with the whole truck rolling off the side of the road, badly injuring the driver and causing most of the livestock to perish. This outcome is very unfortunate and not one anyone wants to have happen, but it was also unavoidable. I believe the driver could not have taken any other action to prevent the truck from rolling or causing more damage and the choices he was left with had no positive outcome. The driver since has been checked by health professionals and is out of hospital and slowly recovering, which we are very grateful for and we are looking forward to him making a full recovery and rejoining the team. The accident scene was all cleaned up the next day and appropriate action was taken to deal with the livestock before the truck was righted back on its wheels and towed away. I would like to thank everyone who helped out during this time of need. David Lange and Peter Warby for helping clean up and bring the remaining stock home. Swan towing for taking care of the truck and trailers and getting them home for us. Id also like to thank everyone else who helped and offered support during this time and over the last week, its great to see we have so many great friends and clients and it means a lot to us at Blights Haulage. Business is still carrying on like normal and we are still available to cater to all your Transport needs and we look forward to catching up with you all out on the job.
