10.01.2022 A lot of people asked me how I started my lash business? If you have been with me for a while you probably know that I used to be a flight attendant. (Yep! I made it to be one of them even though I'm so small and short ). Well, the journey of my lashes started when I was working for the airline as a flight attendant. I was so obsessed with strip lashes. Because I hate wearing mascara to my flight. (I meant I really hate it) Sadly, the airline didn't allow us to wear any fake... lashes or strip lashes. I wore it anyway and got caught so many times to the point that I received a warning letter that if I wore again I'll be dismiss from flight . I was sad and upset and didn't know what to do. I ended up wearing mascara to my flights. I didn't last long. As a person who wear contact lenses everyday and to wear the mascara with the contact lenses on the flight was such an annoying feeling (because my eyes were so dry) I then decided to find an alternative option to strip lashes. Well I did some research and I came across an eyelash extensions treatment. But imagine 10 years ago, no one even knew about eyelash extensions and not many people were willing to share the knowledge. I self taught myself. I was hoping that I could do it on myself. I practiced on my roommate and my cabin crew friends. My skill got better and better. The thing is I can only do it on other people but not on myself. From then I realised that everytime I did it on my friends and see the result I was so happy and seeing my feinds in love with my work it made me even more happier. Soon after I had to resigned from the airline and be back to Australia to be with my boyfriend who is now my husband. I was struggling to find work because I didn't get used to be on ground everyday. It was such a bad moment in my life when I needed to accept that im no longer flying. Anyway, because I was so obsessed with the lashes so much So I decided to start my own little business working from home in Pyrmont then move to Fairfield. I work hard to build my clientele. It has been 10 years now that I have been doing lashes, will continue doing it. And That's how I started my little lash salon. Love what you do!
