15.01.2022 When a precious placenta is steaming happily and I have cleaned and sanitised for the next step I have some time. I sit and watch my crazy boys play (roughly) in our indoor sandpit!!! There is 2 boys in there but the other one is naked It’s right next to my dedicated workspace but still completely separate. I do need to wash hands and use new PPE when I go back in to finish up. ... Even puppy can play there while I do my thing and everyone in the family leaves me be to my process. Mainly because they don’t like the smell of placenta or bleach

14.01.2022 Shelby and I have been trained to uphold the highest level of protection for both our clients and for ourselves. One thing we will be changing during this pandemic and the general cold and flu season is we will be wearing a face mask and gloves when collecting placenta and also when delivering capsules. I will resist hugging during this time and I never ask to hold baby so soon after birth. I feel that the first 2 weeks are baby and parent bonding time.

13.01.2022 I’m taking pre orders for these beautiful milestone cards xxx

11.01.2022 All these things ALL OF THEM It’s real and it’s fine to feel that way. I have been there and pushed through for a whole year. I was tandem feeding and only had aversion with the older boobling. And the younger was a wannabe twiddler and no aversion at that time with him. That came later with 2 year molars

11.01.2022 I love to crochet, I’m pretty good too! I’ve made a few baby blankets and countless beanies...BUT THIS IS AMAZING

09.01.2022 For all the mamas due to have baby soon, you CAN say no to visitors. You CAN say no to family seeing baby you CAN say no to other people holding your baby. The first 2 week of baby's life outside the womb should be for the parents to bond with baby. Baby can learn his/her parents smell, love, comfort, body, voice, everything without interruption from others (no matter how caring that other person is) ... But during the current pandemic and the cold and flu season approaching you CAN SAY NO to visitors after the birth, when you return home and for the weeks after baby has arrived. A simple Facebook post reminding friends and family that your little one is brand new, not immunised, developing his/her immunity and is so so very small and dependant on you to keep them safe will not make them sad or angry. You are allowed to say no. If you just cant say no them please direct friends and family to wash their hands from finger tip to elbow for at least one minute. Also to use hand sanitiser and to wear a face mask no matter what. Under no circumstance should anyone kiss your baby! All of this is not an extreme thing to ask of visitors, it is essential to keep baby safe.

04.01.2022 I met this beautiful mama when she was 30 weeks pregnant. I was invited into this precious journey and show her baby through 3D ultrasound. Being in the room with three generations of amazing women (grandmother, Mother and baby) I felt so blessed and enjoyed listening to how excited and joyfully emotional they were. It filled my heart. I was trusted not once but twice during this journey into motherhood, I cared for and Encapsulated this perfectly beautiful placenta. A placenta that I heard pulsing in uterine, I seen and showed mama the pulsing cord the connected her to her baby. #blessed #baby #babygirl #placenta #encapsulation #certified #placentaencapsulation #APPA #miracleoflifetoowoomba #blissfulbeyondbirth

03.01.2022 COVID-19 for Australia has calmed compared to 12 months ago but this message is still very relevant. It is hard to say no to friends and family visiting you and new baby. Everyone is super excited to meet and cuddle after waiting so long. But you waited longer and you are allowed to say no. You dont owe anyone fresh baby cuddles We made an announcement on Facebook for friends and family to know that our little boy arrived, but after a birth complication we decided to say... no to visitors and asked the midwives to refuse visitors while in hospital. We also stayed home and didn't allow visitors once we were home. All of our friends and family were very understanding and respected our wishes. It was the best decision, we bonded undisturbed for weeks and little Wyatt and I recovered smoothly. Everyone met Wyatt in time and it honestly made first meetings more special. I have photos of each loved one holding Wyatt, it was a very beautiful experience. See more
