Although there are still plenty of restrictions in place, I feel really fortunate to be doing well and staying healthy with my partner. How do you stay positive while there are so many things out of our control each day?? ... The 5 second rule is what I use on a daily basis, and I have to tell you that it literally changed my life!! How does it work? Basically, you allow yourself to dwell on all of your emotions, including frustration, anger, sadness, happiness and anxiety But only for 5 seconds. Here's the ONE THING you need to understand about Pinterest: It is actually KEYWORD based!! Not so much a social media platform where followers matter as much as platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Pinterest is basically a VISUAL SEARCH engine. Similarly to Google, you find what you are looking for through keywords. For example, "fall recipes", "how to make money online", "winter fashion" etc. HOWEVER, the difference between Pinterest and Google is that on Pinterest, you choose what you're looking for according to the VISUALS/IMAGES ... So I have 3 quick tips to up your Pinterest game and get more clicks for you: START focusing on using KEYWORDS your audience is actually ACTIVELY searching for! CREATE gorgeous visuals in the 2:3 format(1000x1500 px is the optimised image size for Pinterest) using Canva or PicMonkey PIN consistently with your audience in mind ... So there you have it!
