20.01.2022 The BOF boys want to give a big public hug to our first ever BOF girl Sarah. Sarah joined us basically for our Palm Creek set last Friday...after her own smashing solo set on the Thursday night she joined us on the Mountain Stage with her magical keys for 9 original songs. Lots of firsts there....what a hoot! Sadly Sarah's moving to Cairns, but we'll certainly be looking for opportunities to make music together again.....a great muso and an even better soul! Thanks Sarah.
18.01.2022 Hey there BOFsters.....just some advice about the Australia Day gig. As it turns out, on the day there is a TYC members function planned after they do their sai...l down the Strand (catered by Rotary), but the Club is not providing its usual kitchen's food service. So sorry, don't plan to come down early for lunch. We're playing between 2pm and 6pm and the BAR IS DEFINITELY OPEN TO EVERYONE! It looks like being a pretty festive afternoon so be aware that the club has a 250 patron limit! It's Australia Day - just grab a pie on the way! See more

17.01.2022 Hello BOFsters......next gig is at the Yacht Club on Sunday 28th. Perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon! And, other than a Blessing of the Fleet earlier in the day it's a normal Yacht Club day, full kitchen service etc. Hope to see you there!

16.01.2022 what could be better than spending the afternoon..MIDWEEK!....at the Yacht Club celebrating Australia Day with a cool drink, friends and relentless LIVE Australian music! Ex-BOF Simo (now sailing nut) is organising a sail-by on the Strand, flags a waivin', returning to the marina for a true blue Oz Day celebration....we'll be providing the music from 2pm till 6pm. So...where else would you be!!
14.01.2022 This weekend we (BOF and crew) would have been at the Palm Creek Folk Festival. Thanks for nothing Covid 19. Anyway the Festival committee has started to pull together a "Palm Creek @ home" youtube channel with many of the performers programmed to play (including the BOF) contributing music clips. Check it out at : https://www.youtube.com/watch The performers have been told that as long as they are available they're automatically invited to 2021, so it's a nice taster.....
