18.01.2022 One thing I love about my job is having to research different industry areas to make sure I have a great understanding of my client, their target customer and to find the right content for their social platforms. Recently when curating content for both my physio and natural health specialist clients I came across lots of content on the negative health effects of SITTING for long periods of time. In fact there's evidence to suggest that sitting is the new smoking. Having tak...en that in my stride and considering that my job requires me to sit for VERY long periods of time at the desk in front of the computer - I've made some changes. In fact the last two days I've spent 95% of my computer time in a STANDING position. I worked it out that instead of sitting for 11 hours yesterday and 9 hours today (so far) - I've sat for all of about 2 hours all up. And I can already feel it in my posture (and my legs!!). Amazing. 2 things came from this - 1., it's pretty cool that I get to learn heaps of interesting stuff doing what I do; and 2. - It's made me so very aware as to how long I sit in a day! What's one cool thing that you love about what you do? And How long do you reckon you spend sitting per day?
