25.01.2022 Family style eating made simple. When the 6 of us eat together as a family, our meals are almost always served family style. This is our easy lunch from yesterday. All out on a plate, and help yourself! Our job as parents is to provide the food, and the kids’ job is to decide what to eat and how much. And by being exposed to all options, and picking and choosing without pressure, they gain exposure even to the foods they don’t eat. ... Over time my little ones have all become more adventurous eaters. I think family style eating has helped this in our house. If you’re working out how to manage fussy eaters while meeting the food preferences of all the people in your home - give family style meals a try! Head to our blog for more info. X Bloom

22.01.2022 One of the meals I frequently see women struggle with is #lunch. Whilst dinner might be a planned event, lunch is often an after thought. Mums looking after young kids at home tend to make their children lunch but forget about themselves and mums rushing off to work pack everyone else a lunch but not themselves! This behaviour often leads to endless snacking through out the day. A little bit of meal prep can go a long way to improving your lunches and your nutrition. I like t...o prep a big batch of a hearty salad once a week. I keep all the ingredients separate and toss together for freshness at the time of eating. This week’s salad is a roasted cauliflower with pomegranate, baba ganoush , brown lentils and fresh herbs from @arthurstreetkitchen . Team with a smoothie or fruit salad and you’ll easily hit your 2 fruit and 5 serves of veg for the day! See more

18.01.2022 Yes we love this! Deconstructed meals where the kids get to choose what they want to eat from what’s on offer and how much they want to eat. Creating a division of responsibility around eating from a young age helps to minimise fussy eating and lets kids eat intuitively in line with their appetite.
