25.01.2022 I made vegan lasagne last weekend which was absolutely DeLiCiOUs however the kids were not impressed Lasagne is SUPPOSED to have meat mum! So here I am preparing another lasagne to win them back over, but this time with meat That doesn’t mean they miss out on veg though ... Lots of carrot, zucchini, onion, mushies, capsicum and silverbeet to bulk it out. Let see what they think How do you sneak more greens into your kids food?



25.01.2022 {cycle syncing} For the first time EVER I’m exercising in a way that works with my cycle instead of against it. I’m in the last few days leading into my moon, so heavy cardio is out of the question for me! Syncing exercise with your cycle helps to keep your hormones happy and protect you from burnout.... In the past I’ve been known to push it way too hard no matter how my body felt; more was more So today, my workout looked like this...a brisk 20min walk in morning followed by an arm strengthening workout. Focusing on improving my posture while also increasing my arm strength. I have to pull my way through 2km of ocean in 54 days so I’ve been consistent in that department! I have tried stewing fruit this winter and have loved the addition of warming spices that transform it into a decadent and healthy treat I’ve just been adding it to oats or @coyo_organic vanilla bean yoghurt when those sweet cravings come knocking! ... Not familiar with warming spices? I have used cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and cardamon. You can also add ginger and an allspice. Stewed fruit is also packed with fibre which helps you . 08.01.2022 Lately, I am loving the texture of Amaranth in my warm salads Technically a seed (not a grain) Amaranth is GF which keeps my tummy happy, plus it can be served as a sweet or savoury dish {lunch} Lots of veg in there, stir fried with garlic, onion and some organic tofu to change things up a little ...
