25.01.2022 Meet Jessie Jessie is one of two owners here at Bloom who’s a self proclaimed workaholic! A bit about her: Jessie took over part ownership of the cafe in September of last year at the age of 20 and has been kicking goals ever since! She was raised in the hospitality industry across a bunch of family owned businesses and has gained a wealth of experience over the years in a number of different roles and workplaces. ... We love her because: She’s a perfectionist! This means that everything she touches, she works hard at to make sure it comes out just the way she wants it. That leaves us with delicious smells coming from the kitchen, a super organised shop and a smooth running work day every day. Jessie’s go-to item at Bloom is an iced latte, why not grab one when you’re in store next?

We’re super excited to introduce ourselves as the new owners of Bloom Eatery and Espresso Bar, formerly known as Little Bliss Cafe We’re having some technical difficulties with the Facebook page and swapping over the name, but we thought we’d still jump on and get our socials going to keep you all updated on what we’re doing and the changes ahead! ... Our official opening date is this coming Tuesday the 1st of September and we're super excited to see you all there From us, you can expect unreal coffee (shoutout to Tom at Tamp Group for hooking us up) and fresh, nutritious food that you can grab in a hurry while you’re out and about. 21.01.2022 RESTRICTION UPDATE as everyone is aware, last night we had some changes in SA regarding physical distancing and capacity restrictions within cafes and restaurants. as a part of these new changes, our eat-in seating has been reduced to just 6 customers. we politely ask that people waiting for their takeaway food and drink orders consider standing outside (weather permitting of course) and avoid sitting at tables to ensure we have room for people choosing to eat in with us ... we still hope to see you all around the cafe & appreciate everyone’s understanding

We’ll have our QR codes popped up around the place for those with the mySA GOV app to scan and follow the prompts, as well as a pen and paper version at the counter for the less tech-savvy folk ... 10.01.2022 CHRISTMAS OPENING HOURS We’ve had a couple of people ask us our plans for the festive season, so we figured we’d pop the essential info up on our socials and keep everyone updated! After an absolute whirlwind first few months in the shop, we’ve decided to take some time off this festive season and spend time with our loved ones while we have the opportunity ... While we’ll miss our beautiful regular customers (and our delicious morning coffee every day!), this year has taught us that we need to learn to appreciate time off and catch up with friends and family as much as we can. In the mean time, we’re still open our normal hours and we will see you in 2021!
