17.01.2022 Dental hygiene learning Our Pre School children have been exploring personal hygiene. Today the educators invited the children to watch an educational video about oral hygiene and involved them in discussion about good and bad habits.... To extend on our conversation and the video that we had watched we asked the children to sort through catalogues to find foods that are good for their teeth verses not so good. This experience has given the children the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on dental hygiene and how to look after their teeth, explore the topic of healthy food groups and build on their fine motor skills through cutting with scissors.
