25.01.2022 Coconut cauliflower wraps This a recipe I have been working on for a while now and I forgot how good it is!! It can be wraps (i used cabbage leaves tonight), tacos, burritos or on a buddha bowl.... If you are an eye ball cook here is the ingredients. If you need measurements I plan to move this one up the to do list 1. Mix 1/2 tin of coconut milk, garlic powder, lemon juice and rind. Salt and pepper 2. Cut cauli into small bits and coat in coconut milk mix 3. COCONUT CRUMB 1 cup dessicated coconut, garlic powder, sumac and termic powder if you have them. Salt n pepper 4. toss the cauli bits in the coconut crumb 5. Roast in a single layer at 200degC for 20-30 mind turning halfway until golden. The 'ol coconut oil and castile soap got me through but they weren't fantastic But I am now in low tox shaving heaven With this shaving soap and my trusty safety Razer I am happy as. I would even go so far as saying this combo is even better than my pre-lowtox shaving go-to's. The difference with this DIY melt & pour shaving soap compared to a normal soap is the miracle ingredient, bentonite clay, that gives a slip factor. The small amount of bentonite clay added to this soap makes it one slippery sucker and allows the blade to glide more easily over the skin. That tiny amount of clay is a game changer! This is a naked olive oil salve as there are no herbs or essential oils added, leaving you free to customise it to your needs. However, even in this naked state, this olive oil salve provides healing and moisturising properties without anything extra. Many salve recipes include coconut oil, shea butter or cacao butter, but I like the simplicity of this naked o...live oil salve recipe. Even more importantly Both Jane and I love the feel of this balm! It feels so luxurious and silky and leaves your skin lovely and soft. You can pimp up this Olive oil salve to suit your needs. 05.01.2022 Hiiii guyses! Its Us.. Jane and Jenny. Collectively we are Blooming Mandala ... We do NOT love showing our heads to the world, but we are learning more and more how important it is. We want to help you guys, but why would you want to let us when you dont even know who 'us' is?! First up, we are sisters. Did you know this? We always think people already know this, but apparently some of you live under rocks . Jenny is about giving you ALL the information you could ever need, and then adding some more you probably dont need Im all about making you laugh and enjoy your time WHILST you learn all the things. Together we are a winning combo!! haha well we think so! For those of you who dont want to take everything super seriously but want to learn, you are our people Low tox is super important to us, and 'clean living' to us is all emcompassing. Its a state of mind Its about gardening Its the food you eat Not just chemicals in your home and on your body. Is learning and DIY fun? Well not always... unless you're like Jenny who is all about the nerdy nerdatron of learning. But We hope to at least give you a few laughs along the way! AND coz we make it super simple, it doesnt take all day and you can get on with the things that make your soul happy! We are NOT EVER about shaming or making you feel bad if you slip up. We are far from perfect, noone can ever be perfect all the time, and why would you put that kind of pressure on yourself?! I dont know about you, but my produce bags seem to get eaten by the boot of my car. Those suckers are never around when i need them! I dont let that stop me buying fruit! i dont let the guilt of using the plastic produce bags consume me. Sure it sucks, sure i will make sure i have what i need before i leave the house next time. I acknowledge that, i forgive myself and i go about my shopping trip. Then next trip i take the plastic bags back to the shop to pop in the soft plastics recycling. Please dont ever be hard on yourself when you arent doing ALL the right things. Even the people who always seem to have their shit together, dont always have their shit together! I promise you, unless they are some sort of cyborg, they are making mistakes. We all learn and grow when we are ready at at the pace we can handle. We are here to love and support those around us no matter where they are at in their journey xx
