25.01.2022 We are very pleased and excited to finally release our after movie from our inaugral Blossom Festival to the world. It was a truly magical experience for us and we hope this little recap brings back some wonderful memories. A lot of love and hard work went into the filming and editing of the movie and we would love to give a massive thank you to the team of YoannDerunes (Photographer/Film Maker), Marcin Oleszkiewicz & Alex Astri for their amazing effort. 20.01.2022 APPLICATIONS CLOSING SUNDAY Due to the overwhelming response for applications to participate at this years event, we are closing down all remaining applications from this Sunday 5:00pm. 20.01.2022 5 MORE DAYS TO GO & LOCATION ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Just one more week of work before Blossom Festival 2019. Hope you are all ready to make the adventure out to our wonderland this Friday. The site has been transformed and we really cant wait for you all to experience it all.... A reminder that online tickets sales end on THURSDAY @ 3:00PM. Pre-purchase your tickets to save yourself some money and secure your place into the festival because sales at the gate will be limited and be at an increased cost. 20.01.2022 THE LATEST UPDATE ON WILDFLOWER So we have received some positive news from the various forms of government, including the Police and Health Department regarding changes to the COVID-19 directions which are currently restricting music festivals from going ahead. With these new changes set to come into play before our event, all things going to plan Wildflower will be running as promised on 26-28 September. As you can imagine this is all pretty exciting news for us all. Its... been a long journey, but we are glad to finally have the news we have been waiting for. Final approvals for our event are going through the last stages of COVID-19 safety assessments and we expect to have this all finalised this week. 19.01.2022 BLOSSOM FESTIVAL UPDATE With the easing of restrictions across the state, we have been receiving a lot of messages from our community wanting an update as to whether Blossom Festival will be going ahead this year. Unfortunately at this point in time, we are unable to say with full confidence that we will be able to hold our event in 2020. Information is changing continually, however we are yet to receive any firm guidance from the government as to what the future phases for t...he lifting of restrictions will look like and when these lifting of restrictions will be coming into effect. Because of the continued uncertainty, our team has decided to withhold from selling tickets until we can be confident that Blossom Festival 2020 will be happening. Rest assured the team is working in the background to get Blossom Festival 2020 over the line. We want nothing more than to be dancing with you all out in the field this spring, however as a new emerging event we need be certain that we are in a position to deliver the same high quality experience as our first year as well as making the right decisions to assure the longevity of our festival. We hope to have more information for you soon. In the meantime, stay safe, positive and look after one another.

17.01.2022 MUSICIAN APPLICATIONS CLOSING SOON Due to the absolutely overwhelming response and the incredibly high level of quality applications we have received so far we have decided to close musician applications early. We have been blown away by the incredible talent we have in the state and it is going to be very tough to choose between all the amazing applications. For those that have already applied, expect to hear from us within the next week or so as we finalise everything.... 16.01.2022 WILDFLOWER UPDATE It has been a bit over a week since our last post and unfortunately the reasoning for this is that we dont have much new information to announce. We are continuing to work with Police and the State Government to resolve the issues around the COVID-19 directions which have placed heavy restrictions on music festivals and we are continuing to seek further clarity as to why such restrictions have been disproportionately placed on small events like ours w...hich are otherwise able to meet the standard COVID-19 safety requirements as advised by the State Government. The messaging we have received is that there are many discussions occurring at the higher levels of government to investigate ways to improve the COVID-19 directions and potentially remove the blanket music festival ban and rather base event approvals on the overall public health risk. However, unfortunately for all of us this process is proving to be very slow and is starting to put significant strain on us as event organisers. At this point in time, we are still proceeding with our planning and organisation. We are confident we have the capacity to organise a safe event for all our attendees based on the guidelines set by the State Government. We are so grateful to all of you who have chosen to spend your long weekend with us and we are very appreciative of the time, energy, planning and commitment that goes into preparing to attend a camping event such as ours. It is because of this that we wish to be as transparent as possible about the whole situation and we commit to provide you with as much information as we can as soon as we know more. Unfortunately, we are unable to give you all a firm date as to when we can confirm Wildflower will be going ahead and it is possible that the news may not come until as close as two weeks prior to the event. In the meantime we request that you remain patient with us as we continue to work tirelessly in the background to try and deliver the wonderful spring escape we had promised. Although we have not yet accepted defeat, we have been assuring that we have the adequate systems and agreements in place to offer refunds in the event of cancellation. 15.01.2022 WOW THAT WAS TRULY AMAZING!!! We need to say such a big massive thank you to everyone that came out to celebrate the first ever Blossom Festival. If it wasnt for you, the event would not have been what it was. We are speechless at how amazing the vibe was, it was so very special for us to see our community engaging in our core values of Respect, Love, Creativity and Interaction so strongly throughout the whole event. One of the most common forms of feedback that we received ...from people is that they made so many new friends, so that is all on to you for being amazing people. As you all know, it takes a massive amount of support to make an event like Blossom Festival come to fruition. So many people went over and above in every aspect of the festival to make it what it was. You all know who you are, everyone from the stage designers & managers, artists, presenters, performers, volunteers, food and market vendors, our Ranger and DPW departments and any one who helped us out in many other ways. We even received some surprises ourselves that we werent expecting, so thank you all so much for that. What we all just experienced was nothing but magical. Cant wait to do it all again. 14.01.2022 WE ARE OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT Thank you all for your amazing support, we are feeling truly blessed to have our community behind us. We wish we could have more space for you all, however in order to adapt to COVID-19 restrictions we have needed to limit our capacity.... Please, please, please do not by tickets from anyone unless they are using our official ticket resale partners Tixel. We have been bombarded by scammers already and unfortunately we cannot block them from our event page. We will be doing our best to delete all posts for people trying to sell tickets not through the offical means however this is proving to be almost a full time job. Tixel provides a safe way to request for tickets if you are looking to buy, join the waiting list for resales and you can also post tickets for sale. 07.01.2022 INTRODUCING YOUR LIFESTYLE VILLAGE COORDINATOR Pasan Tennakoon We are so excited to have the Pasan bring his amazing passion and energy to Wildflower this year.... Pasan is no stranger to running events in the Perth community. He is best know as one of the creative and logistical masterminds behind The Liberators International and WAs Burner Community Blazing Swan. Some of his work include the Pasarnival 2019, Blissfest 2020, co-running various Liberator ecstatic dances and street parties around Perth, as well as multiple leadership roles in Blazing Swan. For those that know him, Pasan is not just about the behind the scenes logistics, he has a strong a passion for bringing people together and making sure they have best fun imaginable. With interests and involvement in yoga, ecstatic dancing, acro, creative movement practices, comedy, massage, tantra and meditation, Pasan is the perfect candidate to bring together our communities most talented artists and space-holders into the unified and vibrant lifestyle village. 07.01.2022 IS WILDFLOWER STILL HAPPENING? As you all know by now Phase 5 for COVID-19 restriction has been tentatively pushed out until 24 October and many of you are wondering whether Wildflower is still going ahead. The current answer we have to this question is its too early to say.... We are working with the special division of the WA Police who are dealing with the legalities of events and the current COVID-19 directions. As many of you know, under Phase 4 restrictions music festivals are still prohibited. However, the current directions around what a music festival is, are ambiguous and it has always been our position that we do not explicitly fit this definition. However, in our discussions with the Police this week, the Police have made their final interpretation that our event does in fact fall under this definition of a music festival. What does this mean for Wildflower? What it means is that if our event was to take place next week, we would need to cancel. Is this the end? We are not the only event which is falling under this same scenario and the Police and the State Government are currently working in the background with health officials to determine whether events such as ours should still be able to proceed under the Phase 4 restrictions. Therefore, we are continuing to work closely with the Police to make our event happen this year. When will we know? Currently, we have not been committed any deadlines for when we expect to see some change in the current directions and there has been no commitment that things will in fact change. There are many working pieces happening in the background and we have been advised that whatever feedback we receive will be based on the advice from State Governments health professionals. There is a genuine feel from the Police and State Government that it is their intension to support the events industry and to help events like ours run in a safe way. We would like to thank the Shire of Boddington and the Boddington Police for supporting us through this process. Whatever decision gets made, we believe that it is the best decision for the health and wellbeing of the people of WA and we will respect which ever direction this decision goes. What next? We were very excited to start making some more announcements of what you can expect at Wildflower this year, however we decided to hold off for another week until we knew exactly where we stand. Now we know (well sort of) its business as usual for us. We look forward to making some exciting announcements for you all next week. What happens if we need to cancel? If the event cannot proceed on the originally planned dates, we will first reassess all our options, which will include refunds. Please keep an eye out for more announcements. 03.01.2022 BLOSSOM FESTIVAL PRESENTS WILDFLOWER Blossom Festival is proud to present Wildflower our beautiful spring escape for 2020. For those of you that have read our previous announcements, you will be aware that the Blossom team has been hard at work developing a spectacular event that will stay true to the spirit of Blossom Festival, however with a few tweaks here and there to make our event more suitable to the current reality. ... Wildflower is the outcome of such endeavours. Wildflower is designed to be an intimate community event with a strict 500 patron capacity running over two days and two nights. We are continuing to work closely with the local government, police and other government bodies to have our event approved under Phase 4 restrictions as well as having a few contingency plans in place should the conditions in WA change in the lead up to the event. Wildflower will place a bigger focus on local WA talent being showcased over multiple environments. We are working with artists from across the state to deliver you the same variety of amazing visual art, performers and a lifestyle village packed full of games, yoga, mindfulness and informative workshops. With sound provided by an immaculate FunktionOne system coupled with beautiful stage design and visual production to suit, we have managed to pack a lot into our new incarnation. We are sympathetic to the current financial position of many of our community members and have been realistic in the expectations of the community and as a result have done our best to reduce ticket prices as much as possible for this years event, yet still creating an experience which we feel can deliver the best value for money whilst maintaining the high quality and standard which Blossom Festival is known for. 02.01.2022 SO HERES THE DEAL The State Governments most recent announcement of lifting restrictions into Phase 4 and the proposed dates for moving into Phase 5 has been a game changer. If Phase 5 is to be implemented as proposed, it will provide the conditions to allow an event similar to Blossom Festival to go forward in September this year. This has been exciting news for us at Blossom HQ, where we are happy to announce that we are all systems go in planning our event for this yea...r! However, we still have a bit of a journey ahead of us before we can say with confidence what Blossom Festival will look like in 2020. We are working with the local government to develop a strategy for delivering an appropriately scaled event that meets the additional safety requirements of our new reality and minimises the risk of potential future changes to restrictions. Like everyone else, we at Blossom have been affected by the global pandemic. The decision to delay ticket sales has had a significant impact on our cash flow, slowing the development and construction of some of our infrastructure. We had an incredible international and interstate line up planned which we were extremely proud and excited to bring to you all. However, travel restrictions and Western Australias hard borders have placed a lot of uncertainty on our ability to deliver on this dream. This all being said, we here at Blossom HQ are not prepared to let these setbacks stop us from curating an event in the spirit of Blossom Festival that can bring our community together again to connect, dance and play in the fresh spring air. We still have a dream, and although it may now be different to what we originally had in mind, we are committed to bring our beloved community an experience to remember. We are so grateful to be in the position we are in, here in Western Australia. So many others in the world are still such a long way from any signs of normality and our thoughts are with them all. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, but we still dont know how long the tunnel is. More than ever we need your support and encouragement to help us make our dream a reality. 02.01.2022 BLOSSOM FESTIVAL 2020 UPDATE Dear Blossom Family, We are bringing you an update on Blossom Festival 2020.... Our team has been working hard behind the scenes to bring you another year of magic and we have been very much looking forward to spending the spring long weekend with you all again. As you are aware there is currently a lot of uncertainty surrounding mass gatherings as a result of the COVID-19 virus. The team was hoping to launch tickets for Blossom 2020 this week with a big celebration, however in light of recent events, our main priority is now the health and wellbeing of the Blossom Family and the wider community. In response, the Blossom team has put a hold on the launch of ticket sales as originally planned. We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves, and will release tickets for this years spring event only when we are certain that our event can proceed safely and in line with recommendations from our community, and government and medical bodies. We hope this announcement can give our community something to look forward to over the next few months as we move through this difficult time and have spring in our sights again.
