18.01.2022 This is a few years old now. The $$ figure is probably higher now. Even more important to buy local now too. Edited to add: This is not about the exact number ...of dollars involved. The whole point of the exercise is to think about where your $$s go. Its about raising awareness and educating people about whats going on and allowing them to make a conscious decision about where their money ends up. Theres actually nothing wrong with buying imported goods, or ones made here with imported ingredients if theres no 100% Australian alternative. The idea is that where there is an Australian product, buying that from a local store in preference leaves more $$s in the Aus economy than buying it from a supermarket.

06.01.2022 In light of the corona virus and the incredible responses and reactions around the world. In confusion and concern I keep asking myself what is this all about? The only answer I can figure out is to go within: to move more quietly throughout our days,... to let go of our busy-ness and control of our planned lives, let things unfold because we must, to connect with our hearts and our deepest values, to love and care for our families, ourselves and each other, our plants, animals and planet most of us have so easily taken for granted. I am continually reminded of the many blessings that surround us in Australia. We have water, fresh air to breathe, and family to love, unlike many. We dont know how this journey will unfold, or what twist or turn will come our way, but we do know in our hearts whats important to us.
