Although government advise is to avoid pubs, restaurants and theatres... your hairdressing salon is a much safer enviro...nment and you shouldn’t be put off visiting us. You have always witnessed our hygiene regimes and that’s why you have seen sterilising cabinets and jars for our equipment around the salon and the availability of protective clothing for our team and yourself. Most of us use disposable towels and if we don’t they are laundered between each client. We are also ALWAYS washing our hands, and we wash your hair and scalp which is the only part of your body we come in contact with. Our cutting stations are usually spaced out further than the government guidelines and those same sections have always been cleaned down thoroughly between each client. The welfare of you and our colleagues are paramount but to let you know, most hairdressers earn via commission and so you cancelling your appointments will have a devastating effect on their financial welfare Finally and most importantly... You will learn the skill of nodding and communicating over a hairdryer with the skill of a therapist. 5. Hair you get out of your skin won’t be ever be yours. 6. You will be on your feet all day...ALL day! 7. You will hurt yourself -cuts, burns and hunger pains. 8. You will do formulas in your head like Einstein 9. Small things like going to the toilet, sitting down and silence are really big things. 10. You will learn a foreign language. 11. You will often drive home with colour on .....and you will feel grateful. 12. You will watch and learn ,learn and watch, watch and learn........forever 13. 05.01.2022 An elderly Florida lady did her shopping and, upon returning to her car, found four males in the act of leaving with her vehicle. She dropped her shopping bags ...and drew her handgun, proceeding to scream at the top of her lungs, I have a gun, and I know how to use it! Get out of the car!. The four men didn't wait for a second threat. They got out and ran like mad. The lady, somewhat shaken, then proceeded to load her shopping bags into the back of the car and got into the driver’s seat. She was so shaken that she could not get her key into the ignition. She tried and tried, and then she realized why. It was for the same reason she had wondered why there was a football, a Frisbee and two 12-packs of beer in the front seat. A few minutes later, she found her own car parked four or five spaces farther down. She loaded her bags into the car and drove to the police station to report her mistake. The sergeant to whom she told the story couldn't stop laughing. He pointed to the other end of the counter, where four pale men were reporting a car jacking by a mad, elderly woman described as white, less than five feet tall, glasses, curly white hair, and carrying a large handgun. No charges were filed. The moral of the story? If you’re going to have a senior moment make it memorable. Share this with all your friends to give them a good laugh
