25.01.2022 We have been a little quiet on social media these last few months as we have been busy transforming this stunning property in the Huon Valley. From design to construction to project management Genaea and I have put our heart and soul into this space. Our clients are thrilled with their new garden and we could not be happier with the end result. This has definitely been the most memorable project of my career so far and I'm looking forward to checking in on the garden in 6-12... months time when the plants have established themselves. I would like to say a huge thank you to all of the suppliers and contractors that made this happen. A special thank you goes out to Damien from Duggans civil for the 20 tonne magic, Bruce from Kingcat Bobcat hire, David and Rhonda from Greenhill Nursery and last but not least Darrell from Barwicks

24.01.2022 Here are a few photos of a little project we just completed. We installed a new deck using Ekodeck+ composite decking and paved a courtyard area. Look forward to planting this one out and bringing the space to life.

23.01.2022 Here’s a few photos of a project we completed in Franklin around 12 months ago. As you can see the climbing bourbon rose is blooming magnificently! This project included a bluestone gabion retaining wall, feature grade spotted gum raised deck and screen, a set of stairs leading down from the existing verandah as well as a custom inbuilt fishpond and water feature. Reclaimed and up cycled materials are abundant in making up the overall style of this space and we think it turned out great!

16.01.2022 As landscapers we have a tendency to get caught up in the construction side of things, concerned mostly with aesthetics and practicality but at the end of the day it’s all about plants being happy. I have always felt as though a really great garden is a symbiosis between humans and plants at a much deeper level. This is why you must always talk to your plants show them love and they will love you back...pretty simple

13.01.2022 Ultra-wide boardwalk style Macrocarpa deck with stainless steel wire balustrade for two deserving clients of ours in the Huon Valley. We intentionally left the saw marks on the face of the boards to give the deck a more rustic/country feel and have also left the timber raw so it can weather nicely to a silvery grey.

13.01.2022 Our latest project in Blackmans Bay completed and the results speak for themselves. The brief for the project was to make the yard more accessible, useable, beautiful and attract nectar feeding birds utilising native plant species. The clients also wanted a raised deck with steps and built-in bench seating to take advantage of the fantastic view of the water from the top of the garden.... Spotted gum timbers have been used extensively throughout the project primarily for its intrinsic beauty and also for its great bushfire resistant properties. In the coming weeks we will be installing a new garden lighting system so the clients can use the space at any time of the day. We are so happy with the way the property has transformed from an inaccessible sloping yard to a naturally beautiful space full of colour, texture and hopefully birds!

10.01.2022 Some photo's from our latest project in Snug featuring. Gabion retaining walls, built-in bench seating, covered pergola, paved patio and garden steps. Really looking forward to seeing the planting out of the space and around the outside edges of the paving by the owner who is an avid gardener.

09.01.2022 Here are some photos from our most recently completed project in Dynnyrne. This transformation has been extensive and is almost unrecognisable from what we started with. Years and years of neglect have been reversed and we now have a beautiful, lush, modern space to be enjoyed for years to come by this lovely family. The planting scheme for this project was influenced by the clients need for low maintenance species. There is an eclectic mix of old favourites and brand new va...rieties that seem to just work in this garden The stand out has to be the 3 x Standard Bletchel Crabapple trees that will start to put on a show of Autumn splendour in the weeks to come. Big thanks to our wonderful client who always went above and beyond to accommodate our caffeine addictions and generally made us feel at home during this strange and difficult time. -Ad and Gen

08.01.2022 The owners of this eclectic Wattle Grove property wanted a paved entertaining area that complemented the architectural features of the house. Here we used clay bricks laid in a 45 degree herringbone pattern with Buckland sandstone blocks as step risers to great effect. We also laid a large area of new lush turf for the owners dog to enjoy. Oh yes and we can attest that the pizzas are delicious...what a great result

07.01.2022 Here's a few photo's of our recently completed small project in Lindisfarne. Deck has been totally renovated, old splintery treated pine was replaced with hard wearing Merbau with stainless steel fasteners. Balustrade has been simplified and changed from timber clad to a more open stainless steel wire system. ... New fence/screen built clad with matching Merbau slats to tie-in with the overall aesthetic. Un-level area has been completely levelled out and new lush RTF instant turf installed. We hope that the owners 3 year old son enjoys his new safe space to play

04.01.2022 Here are a few photos of our latest project completed at this beautiful expansive property in Castle Forbes Bay. The brief from the client was for a large paved area suitable for gatherings of family and friends. A flight of steps leading down to other areas of the property that were comfortable to walk down was also another important factor to the planning of this project. Large format 600 x 400 mm concrete pavers in oatmeal colour were used, laid in a stacked bond patter...n to minimise waste as well as keep with a more modern aesthetic. Our clients are very happy and we look forward to having a BBQ on the new paved entertaining area in the near future. Birdbath / Sculpture by McLaren Bespoke

04.01.2022 Genaea and I have just returned from the 2019 Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show and here are a few of our favourite entries for this year. It is always good to see what our neighbours across the water are doing and what design trends are emerging. Well worth the trip, now it's time to get back to work!

03.01.2022 Here are some photo's of our recently completed project in South Hobart. New turf was laid around beautiful Bushy Park Sandstone pavers, a bike path was created for the kids and a critter proof vegetable structure was built around existing raised garden beds. The clients are absolutely over the moon with the transformation which included a massive clean up of the front and rear yards, removing trees and replanting the entire garden.... We will re-visit this garden in a few months time to see how the new plants are going
