25.01.2022 This is a beautiful short video emphasising the impact that being in/under/around water and having a daily ritual has on our lives. Water goes beyond something we cool off in, bathe in or drink to survive. Have you ever wondered why when you book a beach holiday we always try and opt to have an ocean view? How our proximity to the sea can affect which resort/hotel we choose? What about that friend that has a pool that seems to make backyard parties so much more fun!? ... Water relaxes us- whether you are immersed, listening to the sound of a waterfall or have a gorgeous sandy white beach as desktop background we all subconsciously have a connection with water in one way or another. I highly recommend reading about DR Wallace J Nichols and his theory on the 'Blue Mind'. Maybe it may trigger you into questioning the affects of SCUBA diving will have a positive impact in your life too!

Remember we are at the pool everyday until Monday the 25th! ... Prices start at $65 for a single session and there are discounted rates for couples and families of four! You can also book a whole session out for a private experience if you are interested- meaning no other members of the public will join your session time! 17.01.2022 HEY COBAR! Blue Essence Experiences looks forward to "SEAing" you soon! We still have bookings available- please email or message us your interest and we will send you across some more details or book you in.... Alternatively, please feel free to come and say hello when you see us at the pool, we are more than willing to answer any questions you may have! We will be at the pool from the 19th of January onwards, with sessions beginning at 10:30am. There will be the chance to book with us whilst we are at the pool, however we cannot guarantee you a spot so we recommend getting in early to avoid any disappointment We are a mobile COVID safe business and will be adhering to the Cobar Memorial Swimming Pool and our own COVID safe action plans. Please note that we are currently in Queensland and will be travelling directly to Cobar later next week. 15.01.2022 As seen in the Cobar Weekly this week.. We are bringing SCUBA diving to the outback! Blue Essence Experiences will be running PADI Discover Scuba Diving sessions over a week during the January school holidays. This is not a diving certification course but an opportunity for you to experience the magic of breathing underwater and learn how to use SCUBA equipment in shallow water with a quick, fun and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world at the... Cobar Memorial Swimming Pool. We have had so much interest already and some sessions are completely booked out! There is limited space available so get in touch to secure your spot! Sessions will be run over the following dates: - Tuesday 19th of January - Wednesday 20th of January - Thursday 21st of January - Friday 22nd of January - Saturday 23rd of January - Sunday 24th of January - Monday 25th of January Each sessions will run for 1.5hrs and there are only 4 spots available per session, session times are: - 10:30am - 12pm - 1:30pm - 5:30pm The 'Try SCUBA' sessions are available for anyone that is 10 years or older and can pass the PADI medical statement ensuring you are fit to dive. Snorkelling/Freediving sessions will be available as well for children that are below 10 and are confident in the water. Prices begin at $65pp and there are discounts for anyone booking as a couple/pair or for a family of four or more. 10.01.2022 MERRY CHRISTMAS! From the Blue Essence team Wow, 2020.. what a crazy ride! Thankyou everyone for your support so far, we are absolutely thrilled to have gotten Blue Essence Experiences off the ground and running (or swimming!) We cannot wait to head out to Cobar and Dubbo in January to start sprinkling a little Blue Essence magic around ... We have lots of exciting things to bring to you in 2021 so keep following, keep sharing and telling your friends and family! We hope you have an absolutely amazing Christmas wherever you may be, spend time with the ones you love (either physically or through our tech world) and most importantly, take time for yourself! Blue Essence Experiences was born through the desire to share with the rest of the world how immersing yourself in or around the aquatic realm can have a profound and positive impact on your life, both physically and mentally! ... Hannah is a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and has brought the joy of diving to many people’s lives in different places around the world. Her most previous role was at a beautiful, high end luxury resort in the south of Fiji, where her passion for helping people to enjoy the water was really cemented through having the opportunity to teach a wider range of clientele and seeing time after time that enjoying the ocean runs so much deeper than just looking at the stunning fish and coral reefs! Hannah strongly believes that a personal and bespoke teaching approach is the absolute key to a memorable and fulfilling experience. Her primary focus through Blue Essence Experiences is encouraging people of all abilities to get out of their comfort zone, try something new and overcome any barriers of fear that are holding them back. With her calming teaching style, incredible patience and impeccable attention to detail she can help ignite a passion for the water in absolutely anyone willing to try! Luke has had salt water running through his veins since he was a baby! Anyone that knows him would accurately describe him as a fish as he lives and breathes for the sea! Luke is an incredible PADI Divemaster, a phenomenal Freediver, a fearless surfer and an incredibly patient teacher. He has been involved in the surf club all of his life and spends as much of every waking moment in the water. Luke has a strong background in sailing and looking after high end clientele through luxury yachts. Luke’s primary focus through Blue Essence Experiences is ensuring that every logistical detail of our clients aquatic journey is taken care of to the highest standard. 01.01.2022 Hi everyone! My name is Hannah Young, I was proudly born and raised in Cobar. For most of you that know me, you would know that I left Cobar 5 years ago to travel overseas and pursue a dream of becoming a SCUBA Diving instructor. After five years of teaching people from all walks of life- backpackers in Cambodia through to high end clientele at a six star resort in Fiji- I have moved back to Australia and have began a business with my partner Luke. That business is called B...lue Essence Experiences, where we offer a range of bespoke aquatic experiences through utilising our skills in the aquatic realm to enrich and enhance the lives of others. In January 2021 we are bringing a first of its kind diving experience to the Cobar community, because I strongly believe that just because we live 8hrs from our nearest beach/ocean we shouldn't have to miss out on incredible things such as the ability to breathe underwater! We will be running a PADI Discover Scuba Diving program at the Cobar Memorial Swimming Pool over the summer school holidays for one week starting from Tuesday the 19th of Jan - Monday 25th of January 2021. There will be four sessions per day at the following times: - 10:30am - 12pm - 1:30pm - 5:30pm Each session will go for 1.5hrs and will be limited to FOUR people only per session. Spots will fill up fast so its best to get in quick. The cost of the diving experiences are as follows: - $65 For an Individual diver - $110 For a Couple (or a pair of friends/siblings!) - $200 For a family of four (there is a possibility to add extra children) - We also offer private experiences (booking one whole slot for yourself or partner etc) please enquire about this directly if you are interested. The limited age for this experience is 10 years old. Each diving session will be taught be myself, a PADI Professional Diving Instructor. Luke, a PADI Professional Divemaster, will also be offering the PADI Skin Diver program (snorkelling/freediving in the pool) for any children who may want to participate from the ages of 8-10 years.
