11.01.2022 On our first day helping in Tottenham NSW "The Soul of The Centre", there was no shortage of work to do for the skilled NRMA volunteers. As natural feed is so ...scarce, the farmers have mostly either sold their livestock or sent it away for agistment. Many are now using this time to do the jobs they put off ‘for another day'. They are also very careful with what they spend, as there doesn’t seem to be an end to the drought anytime soon. Having The NRMA volunteers onsite not only gives the farmers company but also skilled help to fix machinery that they have struggled to get to. There is always something else to do. Tottenham is known as The Soul of the Centre, being the nearest town to the geographical centre of New South Wales. Tottenham is a lovely little town. In 2012 it was awarded the NSW / ACT Community of the year for a population under 15,000. So clearly, the town has a lot going for it! #peoplemovingpeople
