24.01.2022 On Saturday 19 September 2020 BMNA'S community of players, umpires, coaches, support crews and fans will unite as Team Crazy for Crazy Hair & Sock Day to raise ...awareness and funds for childhood cancer research as part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. In its tenth year, Crazy Hair & Sock Day, is a fundraiser that encourages the netball community in every corner of New South Wales to go Team Crazy, dress up with fun hair and silly socks and make a cash donation to The Kids’ Cancer Project. For the past decade, Crazy Hair & Sock Day has been an important fundraising event for The Kids’ Cancer Project, raising vital funds for life-saving research to help children diagnosed with cancer



22.01.2022 Blue Mountains Netball Association wishes to appoint a Physiotherapist to the 2021 Junior Representative Teams (U12;s to U17s). The primary focus of the role will be to manage and prevent injuries at the 2021 Senior and Junior State Titles. The Physiotherapist will be remunerated for the senior state titles weekend and the Junior state titles weekend and will liaise closely with team Coaches and Representative Convener to ensure collaboration between all involved in the manag...ement of the players. The successful applicant will be an accredited physiotherapist and be experienced in delivering effective injury management. In addition, the role also requires a first aid certification. 17.01.2022 Congratulations your application to try out to be a Blue Mountains Representative player in the 2021 season has been accepted. We are still looking for players for the U14, U17 and Opens age groups, so if you are interested or know someone who is interested please email me at [email protected]. To be eligible you must be financial with Netball NSW, the BMNA and be a member of an affiliated with a BMNA club. ... Please check the "Reps Squad training Times under the representative tab on the BMNA website your training times and court allocations. At the four (4) training sessions each player needs to bring a water bottle. Training sessions will be a maximum of 2 hours. Not all coaches will run 2-hour sessions so please check with them on the day. Selectors will be present at squad training sessions. This may be for the whole time or part of the time. Please turn up 10 minutes before your training session so it can commence on time. Players, PLEASE DO NOT WEAR your CLUB or REP UNIFORMS. Wear comfortable clothes that you can train in. You will be required to change before you are allowed to train if you turn up in Club or Rep clothing. Each player has been allocated a number that they will be recognised during the training and on selection day. You will have a number written on their arm and leg for identification purposes by the selectors, so make sure whatever clothing you choose to wear, the number can be written on and will remain visible. While the training sessions are not compulsory it is strongly advised that you turn up so you get the maximum exposure to the selectors and coaches. If you cannot make a training session, please let me know so I can let the coach know and mark it on the attendance register. My email address is [email protected]. If you have an injury that prevents you from attending training sessions or the selection day, please let me know as soon as possible so we can make some arrangements for you to still try out. 15.01.2022 With Today's announcement from the NSW Government BMNA are pleased to announce that for this Saturday's Grand Finals we can allow 4 spectators per player. Remembering to continue to stay within the health guidelines set out by the government. This means all spectators MUST scan in using the QR code located around the courts and adhering to the 1.5-meter rule and also paying attention to which way you are allowed to walk going and coming to the court your team is playing on. There have been some court changes to allow us to accommodate the additional people attending on Saturday please see the website for court changes.

The primary focus of the role will be to integrate an athletic development program to complement the existing skills development program. Core duties will include preparation and delivery of age-targeted weekly group S&C sessions throughout... the 2021 netball season and concluding prior to Senior State Titles (U15s and U17s) and Junior State Titles (U12s to U14s).The S&C Coach will be remunerated for sessions and will liaise closely with the team Coaches and Representative Convener to ensure collaboration between all involved in the development of the players. The successful applicant will ideally be an accredited S&C coach or similar accreditation and be experienced in delivering effective physical preparation. BMNA will have teams in the 2021 NNSW Metro League Competition to be played at Netball Central, Sydney Olympic Park. Training sessions will be held at Lapstone Netball Courts through the November December 2020 and January 2021 period. Training sessions will be from 6.00 to 8.00pm (1800 to 20 hours). Your coaches Brenda Ebb and Lyn Grant will run these training sessions.
