25.01.2022 Northfield was a pioneer of lithography in Australia and also was a prolific artist using oil, watercolour, gouache, scraperboard, pen & pencil. Many Australian Companies used him to advertise their products such as Kiwi, CUB, Pelaco, Palmolive, Stoneyfell, Penfolds & McWilliams; Cottees, TAA and Triumph Motorcycles. Many popular posters of Australian holiday destinations were created by him, capturing the unique colour, light and atmosphere of the Australian landscape.
