25.01.2022 With what is happening in the Sydney area in regards to the latest COVID outbreak, please consider if you are a casual or close contact with anyone from the hot spot areas in the northern beaches or in the Palm Beach or Avolon areas in particular. If they or yourself have any flu like symptoms please consider not coming to softball tomorrow and getting covid tested. All members are reminded to ensure that they utilise the sign-in methods available when entering the grounds or at all diamonds. We are mindful that we now have confirmed cases on the Coast for the first time in months & we must remain vigilant to stop the spread. We thank our members for considering others when attending Saturday’s games!

24.01.2022 At 11:45am Saturday, prior to Our Div 1 game on Diamond 1, all BT members are invited to attend a short memorial ceremony in memory of a long time member of the Blue Thunder, Rusty Bears & CCSA families, Mr James Wood. James was a familiar face around the diamonds who gave much of his time to the game he & his family loved. It is fitting we remember him now as his love of Christmas was well known with children of many generations meeting James whilst in disguise ... He will be sadly missed so please join us as we celebrate his memory with family & friends!

11.01.2022 Yo Blue Thunder Fam, Please see final standings and finals draw attached. In a fantastic result for our club we are Minor Premiers in Opens ... D3 D4 JSB MODBALL and our little superstars in tball finished second. Such a great result in a difficult season with many training sessions being canned due to weather and playing under covid restrictions. I want to thank each and every person involved with BT whether your contribution is big or small for making this a very successful season. Now we all reset and head into finals. Cheers, Brad.
