24.01.2022 Nannup has loads to do in & around the area. It is a lovely place to while away a few days. Blue Wren Retreat has even more to do! We offer a break from the digital world with books, magazines, games, jigsaws, walks, serenity and a cosy place to reconnect. We even have a record player (which needs to be kept very safe from little hands!) so bring your old vinyl. There is a TV but no aerial and theres hundreds of movies to watch as a family. ... We have NO wifi! but we do have a bookshelf in the bunk room just for kids books with a huge choice of books for all ages so you can find the perfect book for bedtime. Just imagine a holiday where the total absence of wi-fi is a major attraction? Bill Gates would hate it! See more

(As does the restricted burning period ) Yep, in a moment of awful timing our long-awaited fire pit has been dug out just in time for permit burns beginning. We will need to do some retaining walls and some landscaping and seating in readiness for the open burning season (May 18 onwards). ... We also had many people contact putting their friends forward as worthy causes due to some unfortunate circumstances. 12.01.2022 When the King Beds have 1,000 thread count bedding and are sooo comfortable it is difficult to get out of bed. If you are able to do so the benefit is that early mornings at Blue Wren Retreat are so beautiful and tranquil with the best views. A touch of mist and the light shining off the lake make the deck area a magical place for your morning cuppa. Our next available weekends are 2nd/3rd and 9th/10th September. Dont you think you deserve some serenity?

12.01.2022 Blue Wren Retreat is set on two acres but we have about 50 acres of bush tracks out the back. Our neighbours are cows and kangaroos, a bit of pasture and a few lakes. Its not too bad here.
